(2) a mark, or spot in the skin, whether a scab, or eruption, or leprosy, Leviticus 13:3 (compare verse Leviticus 13:2), Leviticus 13:5, Leviticus 13:6, 29 Leviticus 13:29, 30 Leviticus 13:30, 42 Leviticus 13:42 whence נֶגַע הַנֶּתֶק a spot of scab, verse 31 Leviticus 13:31נֶגַע הַצַּרַעַת a spot of leprosy, verses Leviticus 13:3, Leviticus 13:9, 20 Leviticus 13:20, 25 Leviticus 13:25, and without צָרַעַת verse 22 Leviticus 13:22, id.; also used of leprosy of garments, Leviticus 13:47 and of works, Leviticus 14:34, seq.
