מָבוֹא m. (root בוֹא) pl. ־ִים and ־וֹת.
(1) an entering, Ezekiel 26:10.
(2) entrance, approach. Judges 1:24, 25 Judges 1:25, מְבוֹא הָעִיר “the entrance of the city,” i.e. the gate. Proverbs 8:3, מְבוֹא פְתָתִים “at the entrance of the gate.”
(3) מְבאֹ הַשֶׁמֶשׁ the entrance (i.e. place of setting) of the sun, the west, Deuteronomy 11:30; Psalms 50:1 in acc. towards the west, Joshua 1:4.
