חִזָּיוֹן m. constr. חֶזְיוֹן pl. חֶזְיוֹנוֹת
(1) a vision, Job 4:13, 7:14 20:8.
(2) a revelation, 2 Samuel 7:17. גֵּי חִזָּיוֹן Isaiah 22:5 (comp. ver. Isaiah 22:1), the valley of vision, or collectively of visions, i.e. Jerusalem as the seat and especial home of divine revelations (Isaiah 2:3; Luke 13:33), perhaps with an allusion to הציזן (whence LXX. Σιών), or to מֹרִיָּה, which latter word is interpreted “the vision of Jehovah” (Genesis 22:2; 2 Chronicles 3:1). The city was situated in [on the side of] a valley.
