דּוּמֶּ֫שֶׂק 2 Kings 16:10 compare דַּמֶּשֶׂק.
דּוּמָם (1) subst. silence. Habakkuk 2:19, אֶבֶן דּוּמָם the dumb silent stone. It may however be taken adverbially in this place also, compare חִנָּם.
(2) silently, Isaiah 47:5. Lamentations 3:26, “happy is he who waits וְדוּמָם even silently.” A noun of this form never has an adjectivial power.
