P Petr. OGIS 533.16 (i/B.C.) Magn 127.4 (i/B.C.) A half-literary citation from P Giss I. 3 may be permitted in view of the interest of the document, which is a call to celebrate the accession of Hadrian. The sun-god Phœbus Apollo is the speaker, and announces himself as having just come from accompanying Trajan on high in his white-horsed chariot—
