Med. 720, Antipho 5.18 ( Comp. ), etc.; π. ἔα πυθέσθαι I was eager to learn, Hdt. 2.19; εἶναι ὡς -οτάτοισι συνεξελεῖν Id. 1.36; -ότερος ἐγένου ἐμὲ λαβεῖν Pl. Smp. 220e: with Art. inserted, τὸ προσταλαιπωρεῖν . . οὐδεὶς π. ἦν Th. 2.53 .
