HF 1083 (anap.); δόξαι, αἳ ἐρωτήσει ἐπεγερθεῖσαι ἐπιστῆμαι γίγνονται Pl. Men. 86a: pf. ἐπήγερται is dub. l. in Luc. Zeux. 4.

III erect, raise, τὰς ἀκάνθας -ων erecting his prickles, like certain fish when irritated, Com.Adesp. 1338 (= [ S. ] Fr. 1121); ὅταν ἐπεγερθῶσιν φλύκταιναι Philum. Ven. 17.5.
