Berean Study Bible
the husband who divorced her first may not marry ... - her again after - she has been defiled, for that is an abomination to the LORD. You must not bring sin - upon the land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.
English Standard Version
then her former husband who sent her away may not take her again to be his wife after she has been defiled for that is an abomination before the Lord And you shall not bring sin upon the land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance
Holman Christian Standard Version
the first husband who sent her away may not marry her again after she has been defiled, because that would be detestable to the Lord. You must not bring guilt on the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
King James Version
Her former husband, which sent her away (8765), may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled (8719); for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin (8686), which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
Lexham English Bible
her first husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again⌋⌊been defiled⌋is a detestable thing before⌋so you shall not mislead into sin the land that Yahweh your God is giving to you as an inheritance.
New American Standard Version
{then} her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again to be his wife, since she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the Lord, and you shall not bring sin on the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance.
World English Bible
her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before Yahweh: and you shall not cause the land to sin, which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance.
