Berean Study Bible
And when the relative who is to burn the bodies picks them up ... to remove them from the house, he will call to one inside -, "Is anyone else with you?" "None," that person will answer. "Silence," the relative will retort, "for the name of the LORD must not be invoked."
English Standard Version
And when one's relative the one who anoints him for burial shall take him up to bring the bones out of the house and shall say to him who is in the innermost parts of the house Is there still anyone with you he shall say No and he shall say Silence We must not mention the name of the Lord
Holman Christian Standard Version
A close relative and burner will remove his corpse from the house. He will call to someone in the inner recesses of the house, "Any more with you? That person will reply, "None." Then he will say, "Silence, because Yahweh's name must not be invoked."
King James Version
And a man's uncle shall take him up (8804), and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say (8804), No. Then shall he say (8804), Hold thy tongue (8761): for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
Lexham English Bible
And if one's relative, who burns the bodyand brings the body out of the house and he will say to someone in the innermost part of the house, "Are there any more with you?" and he will say, "None," then he will say, "Silence," because we must not invoke the name of Yahweh.
New American Standard Version
Then one's uncle, or his undertaker, will lift him up to carry out {his} bones from the house, and he will say to the one who is in the innermost part of the house, "Is anyone else with you?" World English Bible
