(Strong's #691 — Verb — argeo — arg-eh'-o )

"to be idle, to linger" (akin to argos, "idle:" see katargeo, under ABOLISH), is used negatively regarding the judgment of the persons mentioned in 2 Peter 2:3 . In the Sept., Ezra 4:24; Ecclesiastes 12:3 .
