A — 2: μεθύσκω

(Strong's #3182 — Verb — methusko — meth-oos'-ko )

B — 1: μέθυσος

(Strong's #3183 — Noun Masculine — methusos — meth'-oo-sos )

C — 1: μέθη

(Strong's #3178 — Noun Feminine — methe — meth'-ay )

"strong drink" (akin to methu, "wine," see under A. 1, above), denotes "drunkenness, habitual intoxication," Luke 21:34; Romans 13:13; Galatians 5:21 .
