Earing, Earing-time. Genesis 45:6; Exodus 34:21. R. V., "plowing." Earing is an old English word for plowing. The same word is used. Psalms 129:3, and is translated plowed. What we call arable land is sometimes called "earable" land; R. V., "plowed." Deuteronomy 21:4; 1 Samuel 8:12; and Isaiah 30:24, where the R. V. reads "till."
