Then two men were there talking with Jesus. They were Elijah and Moses.
And ther apered vnto them Helyas with Moses: and they talked with Iesu.

And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses,.... Or Moses and Elias, as all the Oriental versions read, as in Mt. 17:3,

Mark 9:3
No fuller - Rather, no “scourer.” The office of the person here mentioned was to “scour” or “whiten” cloth; not to “full” it, or to render it thicker.
