Yahweh, Save Me

¹ O Yahweh, how ^(C1)my adversaries have become many!
Many are rising up against me.

² Many are saying ^(F1)of my soul,
"There is no ^(C1)salvation for him in God." ^Selah may mean Pause, Crescendo, Musical Interlude">(F2)Selah.

³ But You, O Yahweh, are ^(C1)a shield about me,
My ^(C2)glory, and the One who ^(C3)lifts my head.

⁴ I was calling to Yahweh with my voice,
And He ^(C1)answered me from ^(C2)His holy ^(F1)mountain. Selah.

^5 (F1)I ^(C1)lay down and slept;
I awoke, for Yahweh sustains me.

⁶ I will ^(C1)not be afraid of ten thousands of people
Who all around ^(C2)have set themselves against me.

^7 (C1)Arise, O Yahweh; ^(C2)save me, O my God!
For You have ^(C3)struck all my enemies on the ^(F1)cheek;
You ^(F2)have ^(C4)shattered the teeth of the wicked.

^8 (F1)(C1)Salvation belongs to Yahweh;
Your ^(C2)blessing ^(F2)be upon Your people! Selah.
