Lead Me in Your Truth

¹ To You, O Yahweh, I ^(C1)lift up my soul.

² O my God, in You ^(C1)I trust,
Do not let me ^(C2)be ashamed;
Do not let my ^(C3)enemies exult over me.

³ Indeed, let ^(C1)none who hope in You be ashamed;
Let those who ^(C2)deal treacherously without cause be ashamed.

^4 (C1)Make me know Your ways, O Yahweh;
Teach me Your paths.

⁵ Lead me in ^(C1)Your truth and teach me,
For You are the ^(C2)God of my salvation;
In You I ^(C3)hope all the day.

^6 (C1)Remember, O Yahweh, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they have been ^(F1)(C2)from of old.

⁷ Do not remember the ^(C1)sins of my youth or my transgressions;
^(C2)According to Your lovingkindness remember me,
For the sake of Your ^(C3)goodness, O Yahweh.

^8 (C1)Good and ^(C2)upright is Yahweh;
Therefore He ^(C3)instructs sinners in the way.

⁹ May He ^(C1)lead the ^(F1)humble in justice,
And may He ^(C2)teach the ^(F1)humble His way.

¹⁰ All the paths of Yahweh are ^(C1)lovingkindness and truth
To ^(C2)those who guard His covenant and His testimonies.

¹¹ For ^(C1)Your name's sake, O Yahweh,
^(C2)Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

¹² Who is the man who ^(C1)fears Yahweh?
He will ^(C2)instruct him in the way he should choose.

¹³ His soul will ^(C1)abide in goodness,
And his seed will ^(C2)inherit the ^(F1)land.

¹⁴ The ^(F1)(C1)secret of Yahweh is for those who fear Him,
^(F2)And He will ^(C2)make them know His covenant.

¹⁵ My ^(C1)eyes are continually toward Yahweh,
For He will ^(C2)bring my feet out of the net.

^16 (C1)Turn to me and be gracious to me,
For I am ^(C2)alone and afflicted.

^17 (F1)The ^(C1)troubles of my heart are enlarged;
Bring me ^(C2)out of my distresses.

^18 (C1)See my affliction and my ^(F1)trouble,
And ^(C2)forgive all my sins.

¹⁹ See my enemies, for they ^(C1)are many,
And they ^(C2)hate me with violent hatred.

^20 (C1)Keep my soul and deliver me;
Do not let me ^(C2)be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.

²¹ Let ^(C1)integrity and uprightness guard me,
For ^(C2)I hope in You.

^22 (C1)Redeem Israel, O God,
Out of all his troubles.
