Give Justice to Me, O Yahweh

^1 (C1)Give justice to me, O Yahweh, for I have ^(C2)walked in my integrity,
And I have ^(C3)trusted in Yahweh; ^(C4)I will not waver.

^2 (C1)Test me, O Yahweh, and try me;
^(C2)Refine my ^(F1)mind and my heart.

³ For Your ^(C1)lovingkindness is before my eyes,
And I have ^(C2)walked in Your ^(F1)truth.

⁴ I do not ^(C1)sit with worthless men,
And I will not go with ^(F1)(C2)pretenders.

⁵ I ^(C1)hate the assembly of evildoers,
And I will not sit with the wicked.

⁶ I shall ^(C1)wash my hands in innocence,
So I will go around ^(C2)Your altar, O Yahweh,

⁷ In order to proclaim with the voice of ^(C1)thanksgiving
And to recount all Your ^(F1)wondrous deeds.

⁸ O Yahweh, I ^(C1)love the habitation of Your house
And the place ^(F1)where Your ^(C2)glory dwells.

^9 (C1)Do not ^(F1)take my soul away along with sinners,
Nor my life with ^(C2)men of bloodshed,

¹⁰ In whose hands is a ^(C1)wicked scheme,
And whose right hand is full of ^(C2)bribes.

¹¹ But as for me, I shall ^(C1)walk in my integrity;
^(C2)Redeem me, and be gracious to me.

^12 (C1)My foot stands on ^(C2)level ground;
In the ^(C3)congregations I shall bless Yahweh.
