Judas, his betrayer, replied, “Surely not I, Rabbi?”
Then Iudas, which betrayed him, answered, and said, Master, Is it I? He said vnto him, Thou hast said.
Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
Judas, who would betray him, answered, "Is it I, Rabbi?" He said to him, "You have said so."
And Judas, who was betraying Him, said, "Surely it is not I, Rabbi?" Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself."
Then Judas, who would give Jesus to his enemies, said to Jesus, "Teacher, surely I am not the one, am I?" Jesus answered, "Yes, it is you."
And Judas, the betrayer, said, "Surely it is not I, Rabbi?" Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself."
And Judas, who was betraying Him, said, "Surely it is not I, Rabbi?" Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself."
And Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" Jesus *said to him, "You yourself said it."
Then Judas, who would betray Him, said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" Jesus answered, "You have said it yourself."
Judas said, "Teacher, you surely don't mean me!" "That's what you say!" Jesus replied. But later, Judas did betray him.
Y'hudah, the one who was betraying him, then asked, "Surely, Rabbi, you don't mean me?" He answered, "The words are yours."
And Judas, who delivered him up, answering said, Is it *I*, Rabbi? He says to him, *Thou* hast said.
Then Judas, the very one who would hand him over, said to Jesus, "Teacher, surely I am not the one you are talking about, am I?" Jesus answered, "Yes, it is you."
Then Iudas which betraied him, answered and sayde, Is it I, Master? He sayde vnto him, Thou hast sayd it.
Judas, the traitor, spoke up. "Surely, Teacher, you don't mean me?" he asked. Jesus answered, "So you say."
And Judas, the one who was betraying him, answered and said, "Surely I am not he, am I, Rabbi?" He said to him, "You have said it."
And answering, the one betraying Him, Judas, said, Not at all I is it , Rabbi? He said to him, You have said it .
And Judas, who betrayed him, answered and said, Is it I, Rabbi? He saith unto him, Thou hast said.
And Judas, who was false to him, made answer and said, Is it I, Master? He says to him, Yes.
Yehudah, who betrayed him, answered, "It isn't me, is it, Rabbi?" He said to him, "You said it."
Then Judas, who was going to betray him, said, "Rabbi,Rabbi is Heb. for Master and/or Teacher.">[fn] I'm not the one, am I?" JesusHe">[fn] said to him, "You have said so."
Then Jihuda the traitor answered and said, Am not I (he), Rabi ? Jeshu replieth to him, Thou hast said!
Judas the betrayer answered and said: Rabbi, is it I? Jesus said to him: Thou hast said.
Then Iudas, which betrayed [hym] aunswered and sayde: Maister, is it I? He sayde vnto hym, thou hast sayde.
And Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Is it I, Rabbi? He saith unto him, Thou hast said.
Judas, who betrayed him, answered, "It isn't me, is it, Rabbi?" He said to him, "So you have said."
Then Judas who betrayed him answering said, Master, Is it I? He saith to him, Thou hast said.
Then Judas, the disciple who was betraying Him, asked, "Can it be I, Rabbi?" "It is you," He replied.
But Judas that bitraiede hym, answeride, seiynge, Maister, whether `Y am? Jhesus seide to hym, Thou hast seid.
And Judas, who betrayed him, answered and said, Is it I, Rabbi? He says to him, You have said.

Judas was the one who was handing Jesus over. He said, "Teacher, am I the one?" Jesus said to him, "You have said it."
Judas, who betrayed him, said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" He replied, "You have said so."
And Judas, who was delivering him up, answering, said - Can it be, I, Rabbi? He saith unto him - Thou, hast said.
And Judas that betrayed him answering, said: Is it I, Rabbi? He saith to him: Thou hast said it.
Judas, who betrayed him, said, "Is it I, Master?" He said to him, "You have said so."
Then Iudas wich betrayed him answered and sayde: is it I master? He sayde vnto him: thou hast sayde.
And Judas -- he who delivered him up -- answering said, `Is it I, Rabbi?' He saith to him, `Thou hast said.'
The Iudas that betrayed him, answered and sayde: Master, is it I? He sayde vnto: him Thou hast sayde.
then Judas, he who was to betray him, said, master, is it I? Jesus replied, yes.
Then Judas, already turned traitor, said, "It isn't me, is it, Rabbi?" Jesus said, "Don't play games with me, Judas."
Judas, the one who would do the dirty deed, also asked, "Do you think it's me?" Jesus told him, "You said it, I didn't."

Then Judas, which betrayed him,.... Or that was about to betray him, as the Ethiopic version reads it: he had taken a step towards it, was seeking an opportunity to do it, and at length effected it: the Persic version reads, Judas Iscariot; who after all the rest had put the question,
answered and said, Master, is it I? Who though he knew what he had been doing, and what he further resolved to do, and was conscious to himself he was the man; nay, though he had been pointed out as the person, and the most dreadful woe denounced on him, that should be the betrayer, in his hearing; yet all this did not at all affect his marble heart; but in the most audacious manner, and without any concern of mind, or show of guilt, asks if he was the person; suggesting, that surely he could, not mean him. It is observed by some, that the word Rabbi, used by Judas, is a more honourable name than that of Lord, used by the disciples; thereby reigning to give Christ more honour, and exceed in his respect to him, than the rest of the disciples; in order, if he could, to cover his wicked designs:
he said unto him, thou hast said: that is, it is as thou hast said; thou hast said right, thou art the man; a way of speaking used, when what is asked is assented to as truth: thus it being
"said to a certain person, is Rabbi dead? He replied to them, ×ת×× ××ר×ת××, "ye have said"; and they rent their clothes i.''

Thou hast said - That is, thou hast said the truth. It is so. Thou art the man. Compare Matthew 26:64 with Mark 14:62.

Verse Matthew 26:25. Judas - said, Master, is it I? — What excessive impudence! He knew, in his conscience, that he had already betrayed his Master, and was waiting now for the servants of the chief priests, that he might deliver him into their hands; and yet he says, (hoping that he had transacted his business so privately that it had not yet transpired,) Master, is it I? It is worthy of remark, that each of the other disciples said ÎºÏ Ïιε, LORD, is it I? But Judas dares not, or will not, use this august title, but simply says Ïαββι, TEACHER, is it I?
Thou hast said. — ÏÏ ÎµÎ¹ÏαÏ, or ×ת×× ××ר×ת×× atun amaritun, "Ye have said," was a common form of expression for YES. IT IS so. "When the Zipporenses inquired whether Rabbi Judas was dead? the son of Kaphra answered, Ye have said," i.e. He is dead. See Schoettgen. Hor. Hebr. p. 225.
