And when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the coating with which you smeared it?'
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not bee sayd vnto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye haue daubed it?
When the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, “Where’s the whitewash you plastered on it?”
Behold, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed it?
And lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing with which ye have daubed [it]?
When the wall falls down, the people will ask the prophets, ‘What happened to the plaster you put on the wall?'"
"Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the coating with which you [prophets] plastered it?'"
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
Surely when the wall has fallen, you will not be asked, "Where is the whitewash with which you covered it?"'
People will then ask the workers why the paint didn't hold it up.
and the wall will fall down. Then people will ask you, ‘Where is the whitewash you used to "plaster" it?'"
and, lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you: Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
Loe, when the wall is fallen, shall it not bee sayde vnto you; Where is the dawbing wherwith ye haue dawbed it?
And lo! the wall has fallen; and will they not say to you, Where is your plaster wherewith ye plastered it?
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
And look! When the wall falls, will it not be said to you, ‘Where is the whitewash with which you covered it?'
And, behold, when the wall has fallen, it shall not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed?
When the wall has fallen, people will ask you, "Where is the whitewash you used on the wall?"
When the wall has collapsed, people will ask you, "Where is the whitewash you coated it with?"
Surely, when the wall has fallen, will it not be said to you, "Where is the mortar with which you plastered it?"'
And when the wall falls, the people will cry out, ‘What happened to your whitewash?'
When the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, ‘Where is the covering you used to cover the wall?'"
When the wall falls, will it not be said to you, "Where is the whitewash you smeared on it?"
Lo! when the wall hath fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the coating, wherewith ye coated it?
Behold, when the wall is fallen: shall it not be said to you: Where is the daubing wherewith you have daubed it?
And the wall shall be breached and shall fall; and it shall be said to you, Where is the mortar with which you daubed it?
The wall will collapse, and everyone will ask you what good the whitewash did."
"Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?'"
Lo, when the wall hath fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where [is] the daubing with which ye have daubed [it]?
For lo! the wal felle doun. Whether it schal not be seid to you, Where is the pargetyng, which ye pargetiden?
And lo, fallen hath the wall! Doth not one say unto you, Where [is] the daubing that ye daubed?
Behold, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed it?
and when the wall falls, will it not be said to you, 'Where is the daubing with which you daubed it?'
Look, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed it?
And when the wall has come down, will they not say to you, Where is the whitewash which you put on it?
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
so shal ye wall come downe. Shal it not then be sayde vnto you: where is now the morter, that ye dawbed it withall?
"Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?"'
Now behold, the wall will fall. Will it then not be said to you, ‘Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?'"

Lo, when the wall is fallen,.... Jerusalem is taken:
shall it not be said unto you; the false prophets, by the people who had been deceived by them:
where [is] the daubing wherewith ye have daubed [it]? what is become of all your promises of peace, and assurance of safety and prosperity; your smooth words and plausible arguments; your specious pretences, and flattering prophecies? thus would they be insulted by those they had deceived, as well as laughed at by such who disregarded their predictions, and believed the prophets of the Lord.
