1 My last words to you, Christian brothers, are that you pray for us. Pray that the Word of the Lord will go out over all the land and prove its power just as it did with you.

1 To conclude, pray for us, my brethren, that the doctrine of the Lord may make its progress, and be respected every where as it is among you: 1-3 One more thing, friends: Pray for us. Pray that the Master's Word will simply take off and race through the country to a groundswell of response, just as it did among you. And pray that we'll be rescued from these scoundrels who are trying to do us in. I'm finding that not all "believers" are believers. But the Master never lets us down. He'll stick by you and protect you from evil.
1 One more thing, amigos! Keep on praying that God's message through us will be heard, just as y'all heard it and believed. Pray that the gathering of the strays happens quickly and effectively. We want as many people as possible to know the truth before it's too late. A Warning against Laziness
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. 2 and (c)that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For (d)not all have faith.2 and that we will be (C1)rescued from troublesome and evil people; for not all have the faith. 2 And pray that we will be protected from stubborn and evil people, because not all people believe.2 and that we will be (C1)rescued from (F1)perverse and evil men; for not all have (F2)faith.2 and that we will be (C1)rescued from (F1)perverse and evil men, for not all have (F2)faith.2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men; for not everyone holds to the faith. 2 Pray that we may be kept safe from worthless and evil people. After all, not everyone has faith. 2 and that we may be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has trust.
2 and that we may be delivered from bad and evil men, for faith [is] not [the portion] of all. 2 And pray that we will be protected from crooked and evil people. Not everyone believes in the Lord, you know.2 And that we may be deliuered from vnreasonable and euill men: for all men haue not fayth.2 And that we may be delivered from evil and unreasonable men: for not every man has faith. 2 Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message. 2 and that we may be delivered from evil and wicked people, for not all have the faith[a]. 2 and that we may be delivered from perverse and evil men. For not all have faith. 2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. 2 Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. 2 Pray that we will be kept from sinful men, because not all men are Christians. 2 and that we may be rescued from wicked and evil people; for not all have faith. 2 And that we may be rescued from the presuming and wicked men; for, not all, hold the faith.2 And that we may be delivered from importunate and evil men: for all men have not faith.2 and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men; for not all have faith.2 and that we maye be delivered from vnresonable and evyll men. For all men have not fayth:2 and that we may be delivered from the unreasonable and evil men, for the faith [is] not of all;2 and that we may be delivered from the unreasonable and evil men, for not all [are] of the faith;2 and that we maye be delyuered from vnreasonable and euell me. For faith is not euery mas.2 and that we may be delivered from vexatious wicked men; for all have not the faith. 2 Also pray that we will not be defeated by those unbelievers who are hell-bent on stampeding those we've gathered. 3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen and guard you from the evil one.(C1) 3 But the Lord is faithfull, who shall stablish you, and keepe you from euill.

3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you and keep [you] from evil.

He will give you strength and keep you safe from the devil. 3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.[b] 3 Faithful, is the Lord, - who will confirm you, and guard you from the wicked one:3 But God is faithful, who will strengthen and keep you from evil.3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from evil.3 but the lorde is faythfull which shall stablysshe you and kepe you from evyll.3 and stedfast is the Lord, who shall establish you, and shall guard [you] from the evil;3 but faithful is the LORD who will establish you, and will guard [you] from the evil [one];3 But the LORDE is faithfull, which shal stablyshe you and kepe you from euell.3 but as for you, the Lord, who is faithful, will establish you, and protect you from the malicious one. 3 But the Lord never goes back on his word. He'll give you the strength and be the one who watches your back when the evil one tries to attack. 4 We have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. 4 And wee haue confidence in the Lord touching you, that yee both doe, and will doe the things which we command you.
4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. 4 And (h)we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things that we command.4 We have (C1)confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you (C2)are doing, and will do, what we command. 4 The Lord makes us feel sure that you are doing and will continue to do the things we told you. 4 We have (C1)confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you (C2)are doing and will continue to do what we command.4 And we have (C1)confidence in the Lord about you, that you (C2)are doing and will continue to do what we command.4 And we have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do what we command. 4 He has made us sure that you are obeying what we taught you and that you will keep on obeying. 4 Yes, united with the Lord we are confident about you, that you are doing the things we are telling you to do, and that you will keep on doing them.
4 But we trust in the Lord as to you, that the things which we enjoin, ye both do and will do. 4 The Lord gives us confidence that you are doing what we told you and that you will continue to do it.4 And we are perswaded of you through the Lord, that ye both doe, & will doe the things which we warne you of.4 We have confidence in you through our LORD, that the things we have commanded you to do, you have done and will continue to do. 4 And the Lord gives us confidence in you, and we are sure that you are doing and will continue to do what we tell you. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are both doing and you will do the things that we are commanding. 4 But we are persuaded in the Lord as to you, that whatever things we have commanded you, you both do and you will do.4 We have (C1)confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you (C2)are doing and will continue to do the things which we command. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command. 4 And we have faith in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things about which we give you orders.4 We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command. 4 We have confidence in the Lord[fn] that you are doing and will continue to do what we command.[xr] 4 But we confide concerning you in our Lord, that what we have commanded you, you have done,4 And we have confidence in you, through our Lord, that what we have inculcated on you, ye both have done, and will do.4 And we haue confidence in the Lorde to youwarde, that ye both do, and wyll do the thynges whiche we commaunde you.4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command. 4 We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command. 4 And we trust in the Lord concerning you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.4 And we have confidence in the Lord in regard to you that you are doing, and will do, what we command.4 And, britheren, we trusten of you in the Lord, for what euere thingis we comaunden to you, bothe ye don and schulen do.4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things which we command.4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. 4 And we are confident about you in the Lord that you are both doing—and will do—what we are commanding. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you. 4 And we are confident in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we commanded you. 4 We have faith in the Lord for you. We believe you are doing and will keep on doing the things we told you. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will go on doing the things that we command. 4 We are persuaded, however, in the Lord, as touching you, - that, what things we give in charge, Ye bothare doing and will do; - 4 And we have confidence concerning you in the Lord that the things which we command, you both do and will do.4 And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things which we command.4 Wehave confidence thorow the lorde to you warde that ye both do and will do that which we comaude you.4 and we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that the things that we command you ye both do and will do;4 and we now have confidence in the LORD, that which we command you both do and will do;4 We haue confidence in the LORDE to you warde, that ye both do and wyll do that which we comaunde you.4 and we have this hope in the Lord, that you will still continue to observe the directions we give you. 4-5 Because of the Master, we have great confidence in you. We know you're doing everything we told you and will continue doing it. May the Master take you by the hand and lead you along the path of God's love and Christ's endurance.4 We have no doubt in your ride for the Lord and that you will continue to ride in the ways we taught you. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts to God’s love and Christ’s endurance.(C1)
5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the loue of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. 5 May the Lord (i)direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.5 May the Lord (C1)direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.
5 May the Lord lead your hearts into God's love and Christ's patience.5 May the Lord (C1)direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.5 And may the Lord (C1)direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance. 5 I pray that the Lord will guide you to be as loving as God and as patient as Christ. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and the perseverance which the Messiah gives.5 But the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of the Christ. 5 We pray that the Lord will cause you to feel God's love and remember Christ's patient endurance.5 And the Lord guide your hearts to the loue of God, and the waiting for of Christ.5 And may our LORD direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.
5 May the Lord lead you into a greater understanding of God's love and the endurance that is given by Christ. 5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts toward the love of God and toward the patient endurance of Christ.5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.5 May the Lord (C1)direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness and patience of Christ.

6 Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name(C1) of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother or sister(C2) who is idle and does not live according to the tradition(C3) received(C4) from us.
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye withdraw your selues from euery brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which hee receiued of vs.
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
Warning Against Idleness
6 Now we command you, brothers, (j)in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, (k)that you keep away from any (l)brother (m)who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.
6 Now we command you, brothers and sisters, (C1)in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you (F1)(C2)keep away from every brother or sister who (F2)leads a (F3)(C3)disorderly life and not one in accordance with (C4)the tradition which (F4)you received from us.
The Duty to Work
6 Brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ we command you to stay away from any believer who refuses to work and does not follow the teaching we gave you.
6 Now we command you, brethren, (C1)in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you (F1)(C2)keep away from every brother who (F2)leads an (F3)(C3)unruly life and not according to (C4)the tradition which (F4)you received from us.
6 Now we command you, brothers, (C1)in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you (F1)(C2)keep away from every brother who walks in an (F2)(C3)unruly manner and not according to (C4)the tradition which (F3)they received from us.
Warning against Irresponsibility
6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who leads an undisciplined life that is not in keeping with the tradition you received from us.
Warnings against Laziness
6 My dear friends, in the name of[a] the Lord Jesus, I beg you not to have anything to do with any of your people who loaf around and refuse to obey the instructions we gave you.
6 Now, in the name of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah we command you, brothers, to stay away from any brother who is leading a life of idleness, a life not in keeping with the tradition you received from us.
6 Now we enjoin you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw from every brother walking disorderly and not according to the instruction which he received from us.
The Obligation to Work
6 Brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ we tell you to stay away from any believer who refuses to work. People who refuse to work are not following the teaching that we gave them.
