3 and I will bring back all the people to thee. The man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: all the people shall be in peace. 3 Then I will bring all the people back to you. If David is dead, all the people will come back in peace."3 And I will bring back all the people to you, just as those whom you sought have come back; so all the people shall be in peace. 3 and then bring back all his men to you, like a bride returning to her husband. You want to kill only one man;[a] the rest of the people will be safe." 3 And I shall bring all the people back to you when all return, except the man whom you are seeking. All the people shall be in peace.3 and brynge all the people vnto the agayne. So whan euery man is brought vnto the as thou desyrest, then shal all the people be in peace. 3 and I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in peace. 3 And I will make all the people come back to you as a bride comes back to her husband: it is the life of only one man you are going after; so all the people will be at peace.3 And wil bring againe all the people vnto thee: and when al shall returne, the man whom thou sekest [beyng slayne] all the people shalbe in peace.3 and I will bring back all the people unto thee; when all shall have returned, [save] the man whom thou seekest, all the people will be in peace.'3 And I wil bring backe all the people vnto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in peace. 3 And I will bring back all the people to thee, as a bride returns to her husband: only thou seekest the life of one man, and all the people shall have peace. 3 and I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: [so] all the people shall be in peace. 3 and bring all the people back to you. When everyone returns except the man you seek, all the people will be at peace.”3 And Y schal lede ayen al the puple, as o man is wont to turne ayen; for thou sekist o man, and al the puple schal be in pees.3 and I bring back all the people unto thee -- as the turning back of the whole [is] the man whom thou art seeking -- all the people are peace.3 and I will bring back all the people to you: all the people will return [if] the man you are seeking [is smitten]: all the people shall be in peace.3 And I will bring back all the people to thee: the man whom thou seekest [is] as if all returned: [so] all the people shall be in peace.3 and I will bring back all the people to you: the man whom you seek is as if all returned: [so] all the people shall be in peace. 3 Then I will bring back all the people to you. When all return except the man whom you seek, all the people will be at peace." 3 and I will bring all the people back to you as a bride returns to her husband. After all, it is only one man's life that you seek.[a] Then you will be at peace with all the people." 3 and return all the people to you. All will return if the man you want to kill is dead. Then all the people will be at peace." 3 and I will bring all the people back to you as a bride comes home to her husband. You seek the life of only one man,[a] and all the people will be at peace." 3 that I may bring back all the people unto thee, - when all return - save the man whom thou art seeking, all the people, will be at peace.3 And I will bring back all the people, as if they were but one man: for thou seekest but one man: and all the people shall be in peace.3 and I will bring all the people back to you as a bride comes home to her husband. You seek the life of only one man, and all the people will be at peace."3 and I bring back all the people to you—as the turning back of the whole [except] the man whom you are seeking—[then] all the people are [at] peace."3 and I will bring back all the people to you. 5 Then Absalom said, “Summon Hushai the Archite also. Let’s hear what he has to say as well.”

5 Then said Avshalom, Call now Hushai the Arki also, and let us hear likewise what he says.

5 Then said Absalom, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear likewise what he saith. 5 Then Absalom said, "Please call also for Hushai the Arkite, and let us hear what he has to say[d] also."

5 Then Absalom said, "Call (c)Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear what he has to say."

5 But Absalom said, "Now call Hushai the Arkite, so I can hear what he says." 5 But Absalom said, "Call for Hushai the Arkite, and let's hear what he has to say."

5 Nevertheless, Absalom said, "Now call (C1)Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear what he has to say."

5 Nevertheless, Absalom said, "Now call (C1)Hushai the Archite also, and let's hear what (F1)he has to say."5 Then said Absalom, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let vs heare likewise what he sayth.

5 Then Absalom said, "Call now (C1)Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear what is also in his mouth." 5 Then Absalom said, "Bring in Hushai the Archite. Let's hear what he has to say."

5 Then Avshalom said, "Now call also Hushai the Arki, and let's give equal hearing to what he has to say."

5 And Absalom said, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and we will hear also what he says. 5 But Absalom said, "Now call Hushai the Arkite. I also want to hear what he says."5 Then Absalom said, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let us likewise hear what he has to say.

5 But then Absalom said, "Bring in Hushai the Arkite. Let's see what he thinks about this."

5 Then Absalom said, "Call Hushai the Archite also. Let us hear what he has to say."

The Counsel of Hushai

5 Then Absalom said, "Call Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear too what he has to say." 5 Then said Absolom, I pray you, call ye Hushai the Archite also, - and let us hear what is in, his, mouth, also.5 But Absalom said: Call Chusai the Arachite, and let us hear what he also saith.5 Then Ab'salom said, "Call Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear what he has to say."5 And Absalom says, "Now call for Hushai the Archite also, and we hear what [is] in his mouth—even he."

5 Then Absalom said, "Now call (C1)Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear what (F1)he has to say."

6 So Hushai came to Absalom, and Absalom told him: “Ahithophel offered this proposal. Should we carry out his proposal? If not, what do you say?”

6 When Hushai was come to Avshalom, Avshalom spoke to him, saying, Achitofel has spoken after this manner: shall we do [after] his saying? if not, speak up.

6 And when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel hath spoken after this manner: shall we do after his saying? if not; speak thou. 6 So Hushai came to Absalom, who said to him, "Shall we do according to this word that Ahithophel has spoken? If not, then you tell us." 6 And when Hushai came to Absalom, Absalom said to him, "Thus has Ahithophel spoken; shall we do as he says? If not, you speak." 6 When Hushai came to Absalom, Absalom said to him, "This is the plan Ahithophel gave. Should we follow it? If not, tell us." 6 So Hushai came to Absalom. Absalom said to him, "Here is what Ahithophel has advised. Should we follow his advice? If not, what would you recommend?"6 When Hushai came to Absalom, Absalom said to him, "Ahithophel has advised this plan of action. Should we do what he says? If not, you speak and explain why not."6 When Hushai had come to Absalom, Absalom said to (F1)him, "Ahithophel has (F2)proposed this plan. Should we (F3)carry out his plan? If not, say so yourself."6 So when Hushai came to Absalom, Absalom spake vnto him, saying, Ahithophel hath spoken thus: shall we doe after his saying, or no? tell thou.6 Then Hushai came to Absalom. And Absalom spoke to him, saying, "Ahithophel has spoken (F1)thus. Shall we (F2)carry out his word? If not, you speak."

6 Hushai came in, and Absalom told him what Ahithophel had planned. Then Absalom said, "Should we do what he says? And if we shouldn't, can you come up with anything better?" 6 When Hushai appeared before Avshalom, Avshalom said to him, "Achitofel has said such-and-such. Should we do what he says? If not, you tell us."

6 And Hushai came to Absalom, and Absalom spoke to him saying, Ahithophel has spoken after this manner: shall we carry out his word? If not, speak thou.

Hushai Ruins Ahithophel's Advice

6 Hushai came to Absalom. Absalom said to Hushai, "This is the plan Ahithophel gave. Should we follow it? If not, tell us."6 And when Hushai came to Absalom, Absalom said to him, Ahithophel has spoken after this manner; shall we do what he has said?
