Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.

Hung up in the Stirrup

3 If there's praise to be doled out, let us praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God shows us more mercy than we deserve, and comforts us in the hard times. 4 He comforts us in all our affliction,(F1) so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 4 Who comforteth vs in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort, wherewith we our selues are comforted of God.

4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 4 (i)who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.4 who (C1)comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in (F1)any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 He comforts us every time we have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us. 4 who (C1)comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.4 who (C1)comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in (F1)any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.4 who (C1)comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in (F1)any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 4 He comforts us when we are in trouble, so that we can share that same comfort with others in trouble. 4 who encourages us in all our trials, so that we can encourage others in whatever trials they may be undergoing with the encouragement we ourselves have received from God.

4 who encourages us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to encourage those who are in any tribulation whatever, through the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged of God. 4 He comforts us every time we have trouble so that when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.4 Which comforteth vs in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any affliction by the comfort wherewith we our selues are comforted of God.4 Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we also may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, by the very comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 He helps us in all our troubles, so that we are able to help others who have all kinds of troubles, using the same help that we ourselves have received from God. 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in all affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 the One comforting us on all our affliction, for us to be able to comfort those in every affliction, through the comfort by which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 4 Who gives us comfort in all our troubles, so that we may be able to give comfort to others who are in trouble, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 who comforts us in all our suffering, so that we may be able to comfort others in all their suffering, since we ourselves are being comforted by God. 4 that we may be able to console those who are in all afflictions by that consolation by which we are consoled of Aloha.4 who comforteth us in all our afflictions, that we also might be able to comfort those who are in all afflictions, with the consolation wherewith we are comforted by God.4 Which comforted vs in all our tribulation, insomuch that we are able to comfort them which are in any maner trouble, with the comfort wherwith we our selues are comforted of God.4 who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 Who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any affliction, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.4 He comforts us in our every affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction by means of the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.4 which coumfortith vs in al oure tribulacioun, that also we moun coumforte hem, that ben in al diseese, bi the monestyng bi which also we ben monestid of God.4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those that are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God.4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any trouble by the consolation with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 who comforts us in all our troubles so that we may be able to comfort those experiencing any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 4 He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 4 He gives us comfort in all our troubles. Then we can comfort other people who have the same troubles. We give the same kind of comfort God gives us. 4 who consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God. 4 Who encourageth us in all our tribulation, to the end we may be able to encourage them who are in any tribulation - through means of the encouragement wherewith we, ourselves, are encouraged by God.4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we also may be able to comfort them who are in all distress, by the exhortation wherewith we also are exhorted by God.4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.4 which comforteth vs in all oure tribulacio in so moche yt we are able to coforte them which are troubled in whatsoever tribulacion it be with the same comforte wher with we oure selves are coforted of God.4 who is comforting us in all our tribulation, for our being able to comfort those in any tribulation through the comfort with which we are comforted ourselves by God;4 who is comforting us in all our tribulation, for our being able to comfort those in any tribulation through the comfort with which we are comforted ourselves by God;4 which comforteth vs in all oure trouble: in so moch yt we are able to comforte them that are in eny maner of trouble, with the same comforte wher with we oure selues are comforted of God.4 who comforteth me in all my tribulations, that I may be able to comfort them who are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith I myself am comforted of God. 4 He gives us comfort for ourselves, but also so we can comfort others when they get hung up in the stirrup of life. 5 For just as the sufferings(C1) of Christ(C2) overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.(C3) 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in vs, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 5 For as we share abundantly in (j)Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.[a]5 For just (C1)as the sufferings of Christ are (F1)ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. 5 We share in the many sufferings of Christ. In the same way, much comfort comes to us through Christ. 5 For just (C1)as Christ's sufferings are ours in abundance as they overflow to His followers, so also our comfort our reassurance, our encouragement, our consolation is abundant through Christ it is truly more than enough to endure what we must.5 For just (C1)as the sufferings of Christ are (F1)ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.5 For just (C1)as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.5 For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 5 We share in the terrible sufferings of Christ, but also in the wonderful comfort he gives.

5 For just as the Messiah's sufferings overflow into us, so through the Messiah our encouragement also overflows.

5 Because, even as the sufferings of the Christ abound towards us, so through the Christ does our encouragement also abound. 5 We share in the many sufferings of Christ. In the same way, much comfort comes to us through Christ.5 For as the sufferings of Christ abounde in vs, so our consolation aboundeth through Christ.5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds in Christ. 5 Just as we have a share in Christ's many sufferings, so also through Christ we share in God's great help. 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, thus through Christ our comfort overflows also. 5 Because even as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound unto us, even so our comfort also aboundeth through Christ. 5 For as we undergo more of the pain which Christ underwent, so through Christ does our comfort become greater.5 For as the sufferings of Messiah abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Messiah. 5 For just as Christ's sufferings overflow to us, so our comfort overflows through Christ.[xr] 5 For as the sufferings of the Meshiha abound in us, so, through the Meshiha, our consolation aboundeth also.5 For, as the sufferings of the Messiah abound in us, so also our consolation aboundeth by the Messiah.5 For as the afflictions of Christ are plenteous in vs: euen so is our consolation plenteous by Christe.5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound unto us, even so our comfort also aboundeth through Christ. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our comfort also aboundeth through Christ.5 For just as we have more than our share of suffering for the Christ, so also through the Christ we have more than our share of comfort.5 For as the passiouns of Crist ben plenteuouse in vs, so also bi Crist oure coumfort is plenteuouse.5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow toward us, so also our comfort through Christ overflows to you. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 5 For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. 5 As we have suffered much for Christ and have shared in His pain, we also share His great comfort. 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ. 5 Because, even as the sufferings of the Christ overflow unto us, so, through the Christ, overfloweth, our encouragement also.5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us: so also by Christ doth our comfort abound.5 For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.5 For as ye affliccios of Christ are pleteous in vs eve so is oure consolacio plenteous by Christ.5 because, as the sufferings of the Christ do abound to us, so through the Christ doth abound also our comfort;5 because, as the sufferings of the Christ abound to us, so through the Christ our comfort also abounds;5 For as the affliccios of Christ are plenteous in vs, euen so is or cosolacion plenteous by Christ.5 for as I have greatly suffered for Christ, so I have been greatly comforted thro' Christ. 5 If we ride for Jesus, we're gonna experience the same suffering he did during his ride. But his daddy comforted him and he will do the same for us. 6 If we are afflicted,(C1) it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings that we suffer.(C2) 6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and saluation, which is effectuall in the enduring of the same sufferings, which wee also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation, and saluation.

6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 6 (k)If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.6 But if we are afflicted, it is (C1)for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; 6 If we have troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation, and if we have comfort, you also have comfort. This helps you to accept patiently the same sufferings we have. 6 But if we are troubled and distressed, it is (C1)for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted and encouraged, it is for your comfort, which works in you when you patiently endure the same sufferings which we (F1)experience.6 But if we are afflicted, it is (C1)for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer;6 But whether we are afflicted, it is (C1)for your comfort and salvation; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is working in your perseverance in the same sufferings which we also suffer.6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which accomplishes in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we experience. 6 We suffer in the hope that you will be comforted and saved. And because we are comforted, you will also be comforted, as you patiently endure suffering like ours. 6 So if we undergo trials, it is for your encouragement and deliverance; and if we are encouraged, that should encourage you when you have to endure sufferings like those we are experiencing.

6 But whether we are in tribulation, [it is] for your encouragement and salvation, wrought in the endurance of the same sufferings which *we* also suffer,
