1 The queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s fame,(C1) so she came to test Solomon with difficult questions at Jerusalem with a very large entourage, with camels bearing spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones. She came to Solomon and spoke with him about everything that was on her mind.
1 When the queen of Sheva heard of the fame of Shlomo, she came to prove Shlomo with hard questions at Yerushalayim, with a very great train, and camels that bore spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Shlomo, she talked with him of all that was in her heart.

She arrived in Jerusalem with a great display of pomp, bringing with her camels carrying spices, a very large quantity of gold, and precious gems. She visited Solomon and discussed with him everything that was on her mind.

She had a very glorious retinue, with camels carrying spices and a large amount of gold and precious stones. And she came to Solomon and spoke with him about all that was in her heart.

1 Now when the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon, she came to test him with difficult questions. She arrived in Jerusalem with a very large caravan, with camels bearing spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones. So she came to Solomon and spoke to him all that was on her mind.

1 The Queen of Sheba heard how famous Solomon was, so she went to Jerusalem to test him with difficult questions. She took along several of her officials, and she loaded her camels with gifts of spices, jewels, and gold. When she arrived, she and Solomon talked about everything she could think of.
1 When the queen of Sh'va heard what was being said about Shlomo, she came to test him with difficult questions in Yerushalayim, accompanied by a very great retinue, including camels bearing spices and gold in abundance, and precious stones. When she appeared before Shlomo, she spoke with him about everything on her heart;

She traveled to Jerusalem with a very large group of servants. There were many camels carrying spices, jewels, and a lot of gold. She met Solomon and asked him all the questions that she could think of.
1 AND when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to test Solomon with enigmas. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great company, and camels bearing spices and gold in abundance and precious stones; and when she was come to King Solomon, she told him all that was in her heart.

She made a showy entrance—an impressive retinue of attendants and camels loaded with perfume and much gold and precious stones. She emptied her heart to Solomon, talking over everything she cared about. And Solomon answered everything she put to him—nothing stumped him. When the queen of Sheba experienced for herself Solomon's wisdom and saw with her own eyes the palace he had built, the meals that were served, the impressive array of court officials, the sharply dressed waiters, the cupbearers, and then the elaborate worship extravagant with Whole-Burnt-Offerings at The Temple of God, it all took her breath away.

She had a very large retinue, with camels carrying spices and a large amount of gold and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was on her heart.2 So Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too difficult for Solomon to explain to her. 2 Shlomo told her all her questions; and there was not anything hid from Shlomo which he didn't tell her.
2 And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not. 2 And Solomon answered all her questions. There was nothing hidden from Solomon that he could not explain to her. 2 and Solomon answered all her questions. Nothing was too hard for him to explain to her. 2 Solomon answered all her questions; there was no question too complex for the king. 2 Solomon (F1)answered all her questions; nothing was hidden from him which he did not make clear to her.2 Solomon (F1)answered all her questions; nothing was hidden from Solomon which he did not (F2)explain to her.2 Solomon told her all her questions; and there was not anything hid from Solomon which he didn't tell her. 2 And Salomon declared her all her questions, and there was nothing hid from Salomon, which he declared not vnto her.2 And Solomon declared to her the answer to all her matters; and not a matter was hidden from Solomon which he did not declare to her.2 And Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too difficult for him to explain. 2 He answered every question, no matter how difficult it was. 2 and Shlomo answered all her questions; nothing was hidden from the king that he could not explain to her.

She saw the palace he had built, 3 When the queen of Sheba saw for herself Solomon's extensive wisdom, the palace he had built, 3 So when the queen of Sheba saw the depth of Solomon's wisdom, and the house which he had built,3 When the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house which he had built,3 When the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built, 3 Then the Queene of Sheba sawe the wisedome of Salomon, and the house that he had buylt,3 Then the queen of Sheba saw the wisdom of Solomon, the house which he had built,3 When the queen of Sheba saw the wisdom of Solomon, the palace he had built,3-4 The Queen was amazed at Solomon's wisdom. She was breathless when she saw his palace,[a] the food on his table, his officials, all his servants in their uniforms, and the sacrifices he offered at the Lord's temple. 3 After the queen of Sh'va had seen Shlomo's wisdom, the palace he had built,

4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their clothing, his cup bearers also, and their clothing, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her. 4 the food of his table, the seating of his officials, and the attendance of his servants, and their clothing, his cupbearers, and their clothing, and his burnt offerings that he offered at the house of the Lord, there was no more breath in her. 4 the food on his table, his many officers, the palace servants and their good clothes, the servants who served Solomon his wine and their good clothes. She saw the whole burnt offerings he made in the Temple of the Lord. All these things amazed her. 4 the food in his banquet hall, his servants and attendants in their robes, his cupbearers in their robes, and his burnt sacrifices which he presented in the Lord's temple, she was amazed. 4 and the food of his table, the vast seating order of his officials, the attendance and service of his ministers and their attire, his cupbearers and their attire, and his (F1)stairway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, she was breathless.4 the food at his table, the seating of his servants, the attendance of his ministers and their attire, his cupbearers and their attire, and (F1)his stairway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, she was breathless.4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their clothing, his cup bearers also, and their clothing, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of Yahweh; there was no more spirit in her. 4 And the meate of his table, and the sitting of his seruants, and the order of his wayters, and their apparel, and his butlers, and their apparel, & his burnt offrings which he offred in the house of the Lorde, and she was greatly astonied.4 the food at his table, the seating of his servants, the disposition of his attendants and their attire, his cupbearers and their attire, and (F1)his stairway by which he went up to the house of Yahweh, so that there was no more spirit in her.4 the food at his table, the seating of his servants, the service and attire of his attendants and cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he presented at the house of the LORD, it took her breath away. 4 the food at his table, the manner of seating his officials, the manner in which his staff served him and how they were dressed, his personal servants and how they were dressed, and his manner of going up to the house of Adonai, it left her breathless.
4 and the food of his table, and the deportment of his servants, and the order of service of his attendants and their apparel, and his cupbearers and their apparel, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of Jehovah, there was no more spirit in her. 4 She saw the food at the king's table. She saw his officials meeting together. She saw the servants in the palace and the good clothes they wore. She saw his parties and the sacrifices that he offered in the Lord's Temple. She was so amazed, she could hardly breathe!4 And the food of his table and the seating of his servants and the attendance of his ministers and their apparel, his cupbearers also and their apparel, and the sacrifices that he offered in the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit left in her to see more. 4 She saw the food that was served at his table, the living quarters for his officials, the organization of his palace staff and the uniforms they wore, the clothing of the servants who waited on him at feasts, and the sacrifices he offered[a] in the Temple. It left her breathless and amazed. 4 and the food of his table, and the position of his officers, the duty of his servants and their clothing, his cupbearers and their clothing, and his burnt offerings that he offered at the house of Yahweh, there was no longer any breath[c] in her. 4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their clothing, and his cupbearers, and their clothing, and his burnt offerings that he offered upin the house of Jehovah; and there was no morespirit in her.4 the meates of his table, the dwellinges of his seruauntes, ye offices of his mynisters and their garmentes, & his butlers and their apparell, and his parler where he wente vp in to the house of the LORDE, she coulde no longer refrayne. 4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the [a]attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, his cupbearers also, and their apparel, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of Jehovah; there was no more spirit in her. 4 And the food at his table, and all his servants seated there, and those who were waiting on him in their places, and their robes, and his wine-servants and their robes, and the burned offerings which he made in the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her.4 And the meate of his table, the sitting of his seruauntes, and the standing of his wayters, their apparell, his butlars, their apparell, his goyng vp by the whiche he went into the house of Lord: there was no more spirite in her.4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.4 And the meate of his table, and the sitting of his seruants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparell, his cup-bearers also, and their apparell, and his ascent, by which hee went vp into the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her. 4 and the meat of the tables, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their raiment; and his cupbearers, and their apparel; and the whole-burnt-offerings which he offered up in the house of the Lord; then she was in ecstasy. 4 and the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants; and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her. 4 also and the metis of his boord, and the dwellyng places of seruauntis, and the offices of hise mynystris, and the clothis of hem, and the boteleris, and her clothis, and the sacrifices whiche he offride in the hows of the Lord, spirit was no more in hir for wondryng.4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his slaves, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, his cupbearers also, and their apparel, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of Yahweh; there was no more spirit in her.4 And the provisions of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cup-bearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.4 the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and their apparel, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit in her. 4 she was overwhelmed. She was also amazed at the food on his tables, the organization of his officials and their splendid clothing, the cup-bearers and their robes, and the burnt offerings[a] Solomon made at the Temple of the Lord. 4 She saw the food at his table, and all his captains sitting there. She saw all those who were bringing in the food, and how they were dressed. She saw those who carried the cups, and their clothing. And she saw the burnt gifts that Solomon gave at the house of the Lord. After that, there was no more spirit in her. 4 the food of his table, the seating of his officials, and the attendance of his servants, and their clothing, his valets, and their clothing, and his burnt offerings[a] that he offered at the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit left in her.4 and the food of his table, and the seats of his servants, and the standing of his attendants, with their apparel, and his cupbearers, and their apparel, and his ascent whereby he used to ascend the house of Yahweh, then was there in her no more spirit.4 And the meats of his table, and the dwelling places of his servants, and the attendance of his officers, and their apparel, his cupbearers also, and their garments, and the victims which he offered in the house of the Lord: there was no more spirit in her, she was so astonished.4 the food of his table, the seating of his officials, and the attendance of his servants, and their clothing, his cupbearers, and their clothing, and his burnt offerings which he offered at the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit in her.4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their clothing, and his stewards, and their clothing, an his burnt-offering that he offered up in the house of Jehovah, and there hath not been any more spirit in her.4 and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their clothing, and his stewards, and their clothing, and his burnt-offering that he offered up in the house of YHWH, and there has not been anymore spirit in her.4 the food at his table, the seating of his servants, the attendance of his ministers and their attire, his cupbearers and their attire, and (F1)his stairway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, she was breathless.
5 She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your words and about your wisdom is true. 5 She said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in my own land of your acts, and of your wisdom.
5 And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:
5 And she said to the king, "The report was true that I heard in my own land of your words and of your wisdom,
5 So she said to King Solomon, "What I heard in my own country about your achievements and wisdom is true. 5 She said to the king, "The report I heard in my own country about your wise sayings and insight was true! 5 She said to the king, "The report which I heard in my own land regarding your accomplishments and your words and your wisdom was true,5 Then she said to the king, "It was a true (F1)story that I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.5 She said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in my own land of your acts, and of your wisdom. 5 And she saide to the King, It was a true worde which I heard in mine owne lande of thy sayings, and of thy wisedome:5 Then she said to the king, "The word is true which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.5 She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your words and wisdom is true. 5 She said:
Solomon, in my own country I had heard about your wisdom and all you've done. 5 She said to the king, "What I heard in my own country about your deeds and your wisdom is true,
5 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thine affairs and of thy wisdom;
5 Then she said to King Solomon, "The stories I heard in my country about your great works and your wisdom are true.5 And she said to King Solomon, It was a true report which I heard in my own land of your acts and of your wisdom;
5 She said to the king, "What I heard in my own country about you[b] and your wisdom is true! 5 And she said to the king, "The word which I heard in my land concerning your words and your wisdom is true, 5 And she said to the king, The word that I heard in my land concerning your matters and concerning your wisdom is true.5 And she sayde vnto the kynge: It is true that I haue herde in my londe of thy behaueoure and of thy wy?dome: 5 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thine [b]acts, and of thy wisdom. 5 And she said to the king, The account which was given to me in my country of your acts and your wisdom was true.5 And she sayde to the king: The saying which I hearde in myne owne lande of thyne actes and of thy wisdome, is true.5 And she said to the king: 'It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom.5 And she said to the King, It was a true report which I heard in mine owne land, of thine actes, and of thy wisedome: 5 And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in my land concerning thy words, and concerning thy wisdom. 5 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom. 5 And sche seide to the kyng, The word `is trewe, which Y herde in my lond, of thi vertues and wisdom;5 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in my own land of your acts, and of your wisdom.5 And she said to the king, [It was] a true report which I heard in my own land of thy acts, and of thy wisdom:5 Then she said to the king: "It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.
5 She exclaimed to the king, "Everything I heard in my country about your achievements[b] and wisdom is true! 5 She said to the king, "The news was true which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.
5 So she said to the king, "The report was true that I heard in my own land of your accomplishments and of your wisdom, 5 And she said unto the king, True was the word, which I heard in my own land, - concerning thine affairs, and concerning thy wisdom.5 And she said to the king: The word is true which I heard in my country of thy virtues and wisdom.5 And she said to the king, "The report was true which I heard in my own land of your affairs and of your wisdom,5 And she saith unto the king, `True [is] the word that I heard in my land concerning thy matters and concerning thy wisdom,5 And she says to the king, "The word [is] true that I heard in my land concerning your matters and concerning your wisdom,5-8 She said to the king, "It's all true! Your reputation for accomplishment and wisdom that reached all the way to my country is confirmed. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself; they didn't exaggerate! Such wisdom and elegance—far more than I could ever have imagined. Lucky the men and women who work for you, getting to be around you every day and hear your wise words firsthand! And blessed be your God who has taken such a liking to you, making you king. Clearly, God's love for Israel is behind this, making you king to keep a just order and nurture a God-pleasing people."5 Then she said to the king, "It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom.6 But I didn’t believe their reports until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, I was not even told half of your great wisdom! You far exceed the report I heard. 6 However I didn't believe their words, until I came, and my eyes had seen it; and, behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me: you exceed the fame that I heard.
6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard. 6 but I did not believe the[a] reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; you surpass the report that I heard. 6 I did not believe it then, but now I have come and seen it with my own eyes. I was not told even half of your great wisdom! You are much greater than I had heard. 6 I did not believe these things until I came and saw them with my own eyes. Indeed, I didn't hear even half the story! Your wisdom surpasses what was reported to me. 6 but I did not believe the reports until I came and saw it with my own eyes. Behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told to me; you have surpassed the report that I heard.6 "But I did not believe their (F1)stories until I came and my own eyes saw it all. And behold, not even half of the greatness of your wisdom was reported to me. And behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not declared to me. You exceed the report which I heard.6 But I did not believe the reports until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not half of the greatness of your wisdom was told to me. You have far exceeded the report I heard. 6 But I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes! And there's so much I didn't hear about. You are greater than I was told. 6 but I couldn't believe the report until I came and saw for myself. Actually, they didn't tell me even half of how great your wisdom is. In reality, you surpass the reports I heard.
6 but I gave no credit to their words, until I came and mine eyes had seen; and behold, the half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: thou exceedest the report that I heard. 6 I did not believe it until I came and saw it with my own eyes. Now I see that it is even greater than what I heard. Your wealth and wisdom is much greater than people told me.6 Howbeit I did not believe their words until I came and my eyes had seen it; and, behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; for you exceed the report which I heard. 6 I did not believe what they told me until I came and saw for myself. I had not heard of even half your wisdom. You are even wiser than people say. 6 but I did not believe their words until I came and saw with my own eyes. And behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not reported to me; you surpass the rumors that I had heard. 6 But I had given no credence to their words, until I had come and my eyes had seen. And, behold, there was not declared to me half of the greatness of your wisdom. Not even half of the greatness of your wisdom had been told to me; you far surpass the report that I had heard. 6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I had come and mine own eyes had seen, when lo! there had not been told me, the half of the fulness of thy wisdom, - thou dost exceed the report which I heard.6 I did not believe them that told it, until I came, and my eyes had seen, and I had proved that scarce one half of thy wisdom had been told me: thou hast exceeded the same with thy virtues.6 but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it; and behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; you surpass the report which I heard.6 and I have given no credence to their words, till that I have come, and mine eyes see, and lo, there hath not been declared to me the half of the abundance of thy wisdom -- thou hast added unto the report that I heard.6 and I have given no credence to their words until I have come and my eyes see, and behold, there has not been declared to me the half of the abundance of your wisdom—you have added to the report that I heard.6 "Nevertheless I did not believe their reports until I came and my eyes had seen it. And behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me. You surpass the report that I heard.7 How happy are your men.(F1)(C1) How happy are these servants of yours, who always stand in your presence hearing your wisdom. 7 Happy are your men, and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you, and hear your wisdom.
