1 When Solomon finished praying,(C1) fire descended from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices,(C2) and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.
1 Now when Shlomo had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.

1 When Solomon finished praying, fire flashed down from heaven and burned up the burnt offerings and sacrifices, and the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple.
The House of God Is Set Apart for God
1 When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and burned up the burnt gift and gifts of worship. And the shining-greatness of the Lord filled the house.
Solomon Dedicates the Temple
1 When Solomon had ended his prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.
1 Now, when Solomon had made an end of praying, Fire, came down out of the heavens, and consumed the ascending-offering and the sacrifices, - and, the glory of Yahweh, filled the house;
1 And when Solomon had made an end of his prayer, fire came down from heaven, and consumed the holocausts and the victims: and the majesty of the Lord filled the house.
1 When Solomon had ended his prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
1 And at Solomon's finishing to pray, then the fire hath come down from the heavens, and consumeth the burnt-offering and the sacrifices, and the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house,
1 And at Solomon's finishing to pray, then the fire has come down from the heavens and consumes the burnt-offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of YHWH has filled the house,1-3 When Solomon finished praying, a bolt of lightning out of heaven struck the Whole-Burnt-Offering and sacrifices and the Glory of God filled The Temple. The Glory was so dense that the priests couldn't get in—God so filled The Temple that there was no room for the priests! When all Israel saw the fire fall from heaven and the Glory of God fill The Temple, they fell on their knees, bowed their heads, and worshiped, thanking God:
Yes! God is good!
His love never quits!
The Shekinah Glory
1 (C1)Now when Solomon had finished praying, (C2)fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the house.2 The priests were not able to enter the Lord’s temple because the glory of the Lord filled the temple of the Lord. 2 The Kohanim could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD's house.
2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house. 2 And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord filled the Lord's house. 2 The priests could not enter the Temple of the Lord, because the Lord's glory filled it. 2 The priests were unable to enter the Lord's temple because the Lord's splendor filled the Lord's temple. 2 (C1)The priests could not enter the house of the LORD because the glory and brilliance of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house.2 (C1)And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD'S house.2 The priests could not enter into the house of Yahweh, because the glory of Yahweh filled Yahweh's house. 2 So that the Priestes could not euter into the house of the Lorde, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lordes house.2 (C1)And the priests could not enter into the house of Yahweh because the glory of Yahweh filled the house of Yahweh.2 The priests were unable to enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled it. 2 and the priests could not go in. 2 so that the cohanim could not enter the house of Adonai; because the glory of Adonai filled Adonai's house.
2 And the priests could not enter into the house of Jehovah, because the glory of Jehovah filled Jehovah's house. 2 The priests could not enter the Lord's Temple because the Glory of the Lord filled it.2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORDS house. 2 Because the Temple was full of the dazzling light, the priests could not enter it. 2 And the priests were not able to go into the house of Yahweh, for the glory of Yahweh had filled the house. 2 and the priests were not able to go into the house of Jehovah, because the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of Jehovah.2 so that ye prestes coulde not go in to the house of the LORDE, while ye glory of the LORDE filled ye LORDES house. 2 And the priests could not enter into the house of Jehovah, because the glory of Jehovah filled Jehovah's house. 2 And the priests were not able to go into the house of the Lord, for the Lord's house was full of the glory of the Lord.2 And the priestes coulde not go into the house of the Lorde, because the glorie of the Lord had filled the lordes house.2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD'S house.2 And the Priests could not enter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lords house. 2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord at that time, for the glory of the Lord filled the house. 2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD’S house. 2 And preestis myyten not entre in to the temple of the Lord; for the maieste of the Lord hadde fillid the temple of the Lord.2 And the priests could not enter into the house of Yahweh, because the glory of Yahweh filled Yahweh's house.2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house.2 And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD's house. 2 The priests could not enter the Temple of the Lord because the glorious presence of the Lord filled it. 2 The religious leaders could not go into the house of the Lord because it was filled with the Lord's shining-greatness. 2 The priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord filled the Lord's house. 2 so that the priests could not enter into the house of Yahweh, - because the glory of Yahweh filled the house of Yahweh;2 Neither could the priests enter into the temple of the Lord, because the majesty of the Lord had filled the temple of the Lord.2 And the priests could not enter the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD's house.2 and the priests have not been able to go in unto the house of Jehovah, because the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house of Jehovah.2 and the priests have not been able to go into the house of YHWH, because the glory of YHWH has filled the house of YHWH.2 (C1)The priests could not enter into the house of the LORD because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD'S house.3 All the Israelites were watching when the fire descended and the glory of the Lord came on the temple. They bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground. They worshiped and praised the Lord:
3 All the children of Yisra'el looked on, when the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD was on the house; and they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped, and gave thanks to the LORD, [saying], For he is good; for his lovingkindness endures for ever.3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. 3 When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed down with their faces to the ground on the pavement and worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, "For he is good, (d)for his steadfast love endures forever." 3 When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down from heaven and the Lord's glory on the Temple, they bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground. They worshiped and thanked the Lord, saying,
"He is good;
his love continues forever." 3 When all the Israelites saw the fire come down and the Lord's splendor over the temple, they got on their knees with their faces downward toward the pavement. They worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, "Certainly he is good; certainly his loyal love endures!"3 When all the people of Israel saw how the fire came down and saw the glory and brilliance of the LORD upon the house, they bowed down on the stone pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and praised the LORD, saying, "For (C1)He is good, for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever."3 All the sons of Israel, seeing the fire come down and the glory of the LORD upon the house, bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave praise to the LORD, saying, "(C1)Certainly He is good, certainly His faithfulness is everlasting."3 All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and the glory of Yahweh was on the house; and they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped, and gave thanks to Yahweh, [saying], For he is good; for his lovingkindness endures for ever. 3 And when all the children of Israel saw the fire, and the glory of the Lord come downe vpon the house, they bowed themselues with their faces to the earth vpon the pauement, and worshipped and praysed the Lord, saying, For he is good, because his mercy lasteth for euer.3 And all the sons of Israel, seeing the fire come down and the glory of Yahweh upon the house, bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave praise to Yahweh, saying, "(C1)For He is good, for His lovingkindness endures forever."3 When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the LORD above the temple, they bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD: “For He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.”
Sacrifices of Dedication
(1 Kings 8:62-66; Ezra 6:16-18
3 When the crowd of people saw the fire and the Lord's glory, they knelt down and worshiped the Lord. They prayed:
"The Lord is good,
and his love never ends." 3 All the people of Isra'el saw when the fire came down, and the glory of Adonai was on the house; they bowed down with their faces to the ground on the flooring; prostrating themselves, they gave thanks to Adonai, "for he is good, for his grace continues forever."
3 And all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of Jehovah upon the house, and bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshipped and thanked Jehovah: For he is good, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever. 3 When all the Israelites saw the fire come down from heaven and the Glory of the Lord on the Temple, they bowed down on the pavement with their faces low to the ground. They worshiped and thanked the Lord, singing,
"The Lord is good.
His faithful love will last forever."3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down and the glory of the LORD filled the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement and worshipped, and said to each other. "He is good!
His faithful love endures forever!" 3 All the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the shining-greatness of the Lord upon the house. So they bowed their faces to the ground and worshiped. They gave thanks to the Lord, saying, "He is good. For His loving-kindness lasts forever." 3 When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying,
"For he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever."3 and, all the sons of Israel, seeing the descending of the fire and the glory of Yahweh upon the house, then knelt they down with their faces toward the ground, upon the pavement, and bowed themselves in prostration, and gave thanks unto Yahweh, For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.3 Moreover all the children of Israel saw the fire coming down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house: and falling down with their faces to the ground, upon the stone pavement, they adored and praised the Lord: because he is good, because his mercy endureth for ever.3 When all the children of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the LORD upon the temple, they bowed down with their faces to the earth on the pavement, and worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, "For he is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever."3 And all the sons of Israel are looking on the descending of the fire, and the honour of Jehovah on the house, and they bow -- faces to the earth -- on the pavement, and do obeisance, and give thanks to Jehovah, for good, for to the age [is] His kindness.3 And all the sons of Israel are looking on the descending of the fire, and the glory of YHWH on the house, and they bow—faces to the earth—on the pavement, and pay respect, and give thanks to YHWH, [saying], "For [He is] good, for His kindness [is] for all time!"3 All the sons of Israel, seeing the fire come down and the glory of the LORD upon the house, bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave praise to the LORD, saying, "(C1)Truly He is good, truly His lovingkindness is everlasting."

4 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifice before the Lord. 4 And, the king and all the people, were offering sacrifice before Yahweh.4 And the king and all the people sacrificed victims before the Lord.4 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifice before the LORD.4 And the king and all the people are sacrificing a sacrifice before Jehovah,4 And the king and all the people are sacrificing a sacrifice before YHWH,4-6 Then the king and all Israel worshiped, offering sacrifices to God. King Solomon worshiped by sacrificing 22,000 cattle and 120,000 sheep at the dedication of The Temple. The priests were all on duty; the choir and orchestra of Levites that David had provided for singing and playing anthems to the praise and love of God were all there; across the courtyard the priests blew trumpets. All Israelites were on their feet.
Sacrifices Offered
4 (C1)Then the king and all the people offered sacrifice before the LORD.5 King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand cattle and one hundred twenty thousand sheep and goats. In this manner the king and all the people dedicated God’s temple. 5 King Shlomo offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

In this way the king and all the people dedicated God's house.5 King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand oxen and 120,000 sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.5 King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God. 5 And King Salomon offered a sacrifice of two and twentie thousand bullockes, and an hundreth and twentie thousand sheepe. so the King and all the people dedicated the house of God.5 And King Solomon offered a sacrifice of 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep.
