I, am about to build a house for the Name of Yahweh my God, to hallow unto him - to burn before him sweet incense, and for a continual setting in array, and to offer ascending-sacrifices morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the appointed feasts of Yahweh our God,-age-abiding, is this law for Israel.4 So do with me that I may build a house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to burn incense before him, and to perfume with aromatical spices, and for the continual setting forth of bread, and for the holocausts, morning and evening, and on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and the solemnities of the Lord our God for ever, which are commanded for Israel.4 Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the LORD my God and dedicate it to him for the burning of incense of sweet spices before him, and for the continual offering of the showbread, and for burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed feasts of the LORD our God, as ordained for ever for Israel.4 lo, I am building a house to the name of Jehovah my God, to sanctify [it] to Him, to make perfume before Him, perfume of spices, and a continual arrangement, and burnt-offerings at morning and at evening, at sabbaths, and at new moons, and at appointed seasons of Jehovah our God; to the age this [is] on Israel.4 behold, I am building a house for the Name of my God YHWH, to sanctify [it] to Him, to make incense before Him, incense of spices, and a continual arrangement, and burnt-offerings at morning and at evening, at Sabbaths, and at new moons, and at appointed times of our God YHWH; this [is] on Israel for all time.4 "Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, dedicating it to Him, (C1)to burn fragrant incense before Him and to set out (C2)the showbread continually, and to offer (C3)burnt offerings morning and evening, (C4)on sabbaths and on new moons and on the appointed feasts of the LORD our God, this being required forever in Israel.5 The temple that I am building will be great, for our God is greater than any of the gods.(C1) 5 The house which I build is great; for great is our God above all gods.
5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods. 5 The house that I am to build will be great, (j)for our God is greater than all gods.
5 "The temple I build will be great, because our God is greater than all gods. 5 I will build a great temple, for our God is greater than all gods. 5 "The house I am going to build will be great, for our God is (C1)greater than all the gods.5 "The house which I am about to build will be great, for our God is (C1)greater than all the gods.5 The house which I build is great; for great is our God above all gods. 5 And the house which I buylde, is great: for great is our God aboue all gods.5 "Now the house which I am about to build will be great, for (C1)greater is our God than all the gods.5 The house that I am building will be great, for our God is greater than all gods.
5 This will be a great temple, because our God is greater than all other gods. 5 (6) But who is equal to building him a house? Why, heaven itself, even the heaven of heavens, cannot contain him; so who am I to build him a house, except to offer sacrifices before him?
5 And the house that I will build is great; for great is our God above all gods.
5 "I will build a great temple because our God is greater than all the other gods.5 And the house which I am about to build is very great, for our God is greater than all kings. 5 I intend to build a great temple, because our God is greater than any other god. 5 And the house that I am building will be great, for our God is greater than all gods. 5 And the house which I am building shall be great, for our God is greater than all gods.5 And the house that I wyl buylde, shal be greate: for oure God is greater then all goddes. 5 And the house which I build is great; for great is our God above all gods. 5 And the house which I am building is to be great, for our God is greater than all gods.5 And the house which I buylde shalbe great: for great is our God aboue all gods.5 But who is able to build Him a house, seeing the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? who am I then, that I should build Him a house, save only to offer before Him?5 And the house which I build, is great: for great is our God aboue all gods. 5 And the house which I am building is to be great: for the Lord our God is great beyond all gods. 5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods. 5 For the hows which Y coueyte to bilde is greet; for `oure Lord God is greet ouer alle goddis.5 And the house which I build is great; for great is our God above all gods.5 And the house which I build [is] great: for great [is] our God above all gods.5 And the temple which I build will be great, for our God is greater than all gods.
5 "This must be a magnificent Temple because our God is greater than all other gods. 5 The house I am about to build will be great. For our God is greater than all the gods. 5 The house that I am about to build will be great, for our God is greater than other gods. 5 And, the house which I am about to build, must be great, - for great is our God, above all gods.5 For the house which I desire to build, is great: for our God is great above all gods.5 The house which I am to build will be great, for our God is greater than all gods.5 `And the house that I am building [is] great, for greater [is] our God than all gods;5 And the house that I am building [is] great, for our God [is] greater than all gods;5-10 "The house I am building has to be the best, for our God is the best, far better than competing gods. But who is capable of building such a structure? Why, the skies—the entire cosmos!—can't begin to contain him. And me, who am I to think I can build a house adequate for God—burning incense to him is about all I'm good for! I need your help: Send me a master artisan in gold, silver, bronze, iron, textiles of purple, crimson, and violet, and who knows the craft of engraving; he will supervise the trained craftsmen in Judah and Jerusalem that my father provided. Also send cedar, cypress, and algum logs from Lebanon; I know you have lumberjacks experienced in the Lebanon forests. I'll send workers to join your crews to cut plenty of timber—I'm going to need a lot, for this house I'm building is going to be absolutely stunning—a showcase temple! I'll provide all the food necessary for your crew of lumberjacks and loggers: 130,000 bushels of wheat, 120,000 gallons of wine, and 120,000 gallons of olive oil."5 "The house which I am about to build will be great, for (C1)greater is our God than all the gods.6 But who is able to build a temple for him, since even heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain him?(C1) Who am I then that I should build a temple for him except as a place to burn incense before him? 6 But who is able to build him a house, seeing heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain him? who am I then, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him?
6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him? 6 (k)But who is able to build him a house, since (l)heaven, even highest heaven, cannot contain him? Who am I to build a house for him, except as a place to make offerings before him? 6 But no one can really build a house for our God. Not even the highest of heavens can hold him. How then can I build a temple for him except as a place to burn sacrifices to him? 6 Of course, who can really build a temple for him, since the sky and the highest heavens cannot contain him? Who am I that I should build him a temple! It will really be only a place to offer sacrifices before him.6 "But (C1)who is able to build a house for Him, since the heavens and even the highest heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I to build a house for Him, except as a place to burn incense before Him?6 "But (C1)who is able to build a house for Him, since the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain Him? And who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except to (F1)burn incense before Him?6 But who is able to build him a house, seeing heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain him? who am I then, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him? 6 Who is he then that can be able to buylde him an house, when the heauen, & the heauen of heauens can not conteine him? who am I then that I should buylde him an house? but I do it to burne incense before him.6 "But (C1)who is able to build a house for Him, for the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain Him? So who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except to (F1)burn incense before Him?6 But who is able to build a house for Him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain Him? Who then am I, that I should build a house for Him, except as a place to burn sacrifices before Him? 6 No one can ever build a temple large enough for God—even the heavens are too small a place for him to live in! All I can do is build a place where we can offer sacrifices to him.
6 (7) "Now, therefore, send me a man skilled at working with gold, silver, bronze and iron; dealing with purple, crimson, and blue dyed materials; and capable of doing all kinds of engraving. He will be with the skilled craftsmen I have with me in Y'hudah and Yerushalayim, whom David my father provided.
6 But who is able to build him a house, seeing the heavens and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? And who am I that I should build him a house, except to burn sacrifice before him? 6 No one can really build a house to put our God in. The whole sky and the highest heaven cannot contain our God, so I cannot build a temple to put him in. I can only build a place to burn incense to honor him.6 But who is able to build him a house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? Who am I then, that I should build him a house or burn sweet incense before him? 6 (b)Yet no one can really build a temple for God, because even all the vastness of heaven cannot contain him. How then can I build a temple that would be anything more than a place to burn incense to God? 6 Now who indeed has adequate strength to build a house for him? For the heavens and the highest heavens[f] are not able to contain him. Now who am I that I would build a house for him, except to burn incense before him? 6 But who has strength to enclose a house for Him, since the heavens and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? And who am I that I should build Him a house, except to offer before Him?6 But who is able to buylde him an house? For heauen & the heauens of all heauens maye not coprehende him. Who am I then, that I shulde buylde him an house? But onely for this intent to burne incense before him? 6 But who [b]is able to build him a house, seeing heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him? 6 But who may have strength enough to make a house for him, seeing that the heaven and the heaven of heavens are not wide enough to be his resting-place? who am I then to make a house for him? But I am building it only for the burning of perfume before him.6 But who is able to buylde him an house? when that heauen and heauen aboue all heauens is not able to receaue him, what am I then that should buyld him an house? nay, but euen to burne sacrifice before him [shall this buylding be.]6 Now therefore send me a man skilful to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that hath skill to grave all manner of gravings, to be with the skilful men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heauen, and heauen of heauens cannot conteine him? Who am I then that I should build him an house? Saue onely to burne sacrifice before him? 6 And who will be able to build him a house? for the heaven and heaven of heavens do not bear his glory: and who am I, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him? 6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn incense before him? 6 Who therfor may haue myyt to bilde a worthi hows to hym? For if heuene and the heuenes of heuenes moun not take hym, hou greet am Y, that Y may bilde `an hows to hym, but to this thing oonli, that encense be brent bifor hym?6 But who is able to build him a house, seeing heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him?6 But who is able to build him a house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who [am] I then that I should build him a house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?6 But who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a temple, except to burn sacrifice before Him? 6 But who can really build him a worthy home? Not even the highest heavens can contain him! So who am I to consider building a Temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices to him? 6 But who is able to build a house for Him? For the heavens and the highest heavens are not big enough to hold Him. So who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except as a place to burn special perfume before Him? 6 But who is able to build him a house, since heaven, even highest heaven, cannot contain him? Who am I to build a house for him, except as a place to make offerings before him? 6 But who is able to build unto him a house? for, the heavens, even the heaven of heavens, cannot contain him, - who then am, I, that I should build unto him a house, though only to burn incense before him?6 Who then can be able to build him a worthy house? if heaven, and the heavens of heavens cannot contain him: who am I that I should be able to build him a house? but to this end only, that incense may be burnt before him.6 But who is able to build him a house, since heaven, even highest heaven, cannot contain him? Who am I to build a house for him, except as a place to burn incense before him?6 and who doth retain strength to build to Him a house, for the heavens, even the heavens of the heavens, do not contain Him? and who [am] I that I do build to Him a house, except to make perfume before Him?6 and who retains strength to build a house for Him, since the heavens, even the heavens of the heavens, do not contain Him? And who [am] I that I build a house for Him, except to make incense before Him?6 "But (C1)who is able to build a house for Him, for the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain Him? So who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except to (F1)burn incense before Him?
