Victory over Ben-hadad

1 Now King Ben-hadad(C1) of Aram assembled his entire army. Thirty-two kings,(C2) along with horses and chariots, were with him. He marched up, besieged Samaria,(C3) and fought against it.

1 Ben-Hadad the king of Aram gathered all his host together; and there were thirty-two kings with him, and horses and chariots: and he went up and besieged Shomron, and fought against it.

1 And Benhadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and there were thirty and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots; and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it.

Ahab's Wars with Syria

1 (a)Ben-hadad the king of Syria gathered all his army together. (b)Thirty-two kings were with him, and horses and chariots. And he went up and closed in on (c)Samaria and fought against it.

Ben-Hadad and Ahab Go to War

1 Ben-Hadad king of Aram gathered together all his army. There were thirty-two kings with their horses and chariots who went with him and surrounded Samaria and attacked it.

1 King Benhadad of Syria gathered all his troops, and supported by thirty-two other rulers with their horses and chariots, he marched up, laid siege to Samaria, and launched attacks against it.

Ben-Hadad Attacks Samaria

1 Now Ben-hadad king of Aram assembled his entire army. Accompanied by thirty-two kings with their horses and chariots, he marched up, besieged Samaria, and waged war against it.

1 Forsothe Benadab, kyng of Sirye, gaderide al his oost, and two and thritti kyngis with hym, and horsis, and charis; and he stiede ayens Samarie, and fauyt, and bisegide it.

Ben-Hadad Attacks Samaria

1 About that time King Ben-hadad of Aram mobilized his army, supported by the chariots and horses of thirty-two allied kings. They went to besiege Samaria, the capital of Israel, and launched attacks against it.

Syria Fights Samaria

1 Ben-hadad king of Syria gathered all his army together. Thirty-two kings were with him, and horses and war-wagons. And he went up against Samaria in battle.

Ahab's Wars with the Arameans

1 And Ben-Hadad king of Aram has gathered all his force, and thirty-two kings [are] with him, and horse and chariot, and he goes up and lays siege against Samaria, and fights with it,1-3 At about this same time Ben-Hadad king of Aram mustered his troops. He recruited in addition thirty-two local sheiks, all outfitted with horses and chariots. He set out in force and surrounded Samaria, ready to make war. He sent an envoy into the city to set his terms before Ahab king of Israel: "Ben-Hadad lays claim to your silver and gold, and to the pick of your wives and sons."

War with Aram

1 Now (C1)Ben-hadad king of Aram gathered all his army, (C2)and there were thirty-two kings with him, and horses and chariots. And he went up and (C3)besieged Samaria and fought against it.2 He sent messengers into the city to King Ahab of Israel and said to him, “This is what Ben-hadad says: 2 He sent messengers to Ach'av king of Yisra'el, into the city, and said to him, Thus says Ben-Hadad,

2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Benhadad, 2 And he sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel and said to him, "Thus says Ben-hadad: 2 The king sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel.

This was his message: "Ben-Hadad says, 2 He sent messengers to King Ahab of Israel, who was in the city. 2 Then he sent messengers to the city to Ahab king of Israel; and he said to him, "Thus says Ben-hadad:2 Then he sent messengers to the city to Ahab, king of Israel, and said to him, "This is what Ben-hadad says:2 And he sent messengers to Ahab King of Israel, into the citie,2 Then he sent messengers to the city to Ahab king of Israel and said to him, "Thus says Ben-hadad, 2 Benhadad sent a messenger to tell King Ahab of Israel, 2 He sent messengers inside the city to Ach'av king of Isra'el

2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said to him, Thus says Ben-Hadad: 2 The king sent messengers to King Ahab of Israel who was inside the city.2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel, and said to him, Thus says Bar-hadad, 2 He sent messengers into the city to King Ahab of Israel to say, "King Benhadad demands that 2 He sent messengers to the city to Ahab king of Israel. 2 And he sent messengers to Ahab the king of Israel, to the city, and said to him, So says Ben-hadad,2 And he sent messaungers vnto Achab ye kynge of Israel in to ye cite, & caused to saye vnto him: Thus sayeth Benadab: 2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel, into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Ben-hadad, 2 And he sent representatives into the town to Ahab, king of Israel;2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the citie, and sayde vnto him, thus saith Benhadad.2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel, into the city,2 And hee sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel, into the city, and saide vnto him, Thus saith Benhadad, 2 And Achaab spoke to Nabuthai, saying, Give me thy vineyard, and I will have it for a garden of herbs, for it is near my house: and I will give thee another vineyard better than it; or if it please thee, I will give thee money, the price of this thy vineyard, and I will have it for a garden of herbs. 2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel, into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Ben–hadad, 2 Then he sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel,2 And he sente messangeris to Achab, kyng of Israel, in to the citee,2 and sendeth messengers unto Ahab king of Israel, to the city,2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel, into the city, and said to him, Thus says Ben-hadad,2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said to him, Thus saith Ben-hadad,2 He sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel, into the city, and said to him, Thus says Ben-hadad, 2 Then he sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel, and said to him, "Thus says Ben-Hadad: 2 Ben-hadad sent messengers into the city to relay this message to King Ahab of Israel: "This is what Ben-hadad says: 2 Then he sent men with news to the city of Ahab king of Israel, saying, "This is what Ben-hadad says. 2 Then he sent messengers into the city to King Ahab of Israel, and said to him: "Thus says Ben-hadad: 2 And he sent messengers unto Ahab king of Israel, into the city, and said to him, - Thus, saith Ben-hadad,2 And sending messengers to Achab, king of Israel, into the city,2 And he sent messengers into the city to Ahab king of Israel, and said to him, "Thus says Ben-ha'dad:2 and sends messengers to Ahab king of Israel, to the city,2 Then he sent messengers to the city to Ahab king of Israel and said to him, "Thus says Ben-hadad,3 ‘Your silver and your gold are mine! And your best wives and children are mine as well!’” (C1)

3 Your silver and your gold is mine; your wives also and your children, even the best, are mine.

3 Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine. 3 ‘Your silver and your gold are mine; your best wives and children also are mine.'" 3 ‘Your silver and gold belong to me, as well as the best of your wives and children.'" 3 He said to him, "This is what Ben Hadad says, ‘Your silver and your gold are mine, as well as the best of your wives and sons.'" 3 'Your silver and your gold are mine; your wives and your children, even the fairest, also are mine as conditions of peace.'"3 'Your silver and your gold are mine; your most beautiful wives and children are also mine.'"3 And sayd vnto him, Thus sayth Ben-hadad, Thy siluer & thy golde is mine: also thy women, and thy fayre children are mine.3 'Your silver and your gold are mine; your most beautiful wives and children are also mine.'" 3 "Ahab, give me your silver and gold, your wives,[b] and your strongest sons!" 3 to say to him, "Here is the message from Ben-Hadad: ‘Your silver and gold are mine, also your wives and your best children are mine.'"

3 Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, the goodliest, are mine. 3 The message was, "Ben-Hadad says, ‘Your silver and your gold are mine, and so are the best of your wives and children.'"3 Your silver and your gold are mine; and the most attractive of your wives and your children are mine also. 3 you surrender to him your silver and gold, your women and the strongest of your children." 3 He said to him, "Thus says Ben-Hadad: ‘Your silver and your gold are mine, and your women and your best sons are mine.'" 3 Your silver and your gold are mine, and your wives and your sons, the best, are mine.3 Thy syluer & thy golde is myne, and thy wyues & thy best children are myne also. 3 Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine. 3 And they said to him, Ben-hadad says, Your silver and your gold are mine; and your wives and children are mine.3 Thy siluer & thy gold is myne, & the fayrest of thy wiues & of thy childre be mine.3 and said unto him: 'Thus saith Ben-hadad: Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine.'3 Thy siluer and thy gold is mine, thy wiues also, and thy children, euen the goodliest, are mine. 3 And Nabuthai said to Achaab, My God forbid me that I should give thee the inheritance of my fathers. 3 Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine. 3 saying, “This is what Ben-hadad says(a): ‘Your silver and gold are mine, and your best wives and children are mine!’”3 and seide, Benadab seith these thingis, Thi siluer and thi gold is myn, and thi wyues, and thi beste sones ben myn.3 and saith to him, `Thus said Ben-Hadad, `Thy silver and thy gold are mine, and thy wives and thy sons -- the best -- are mine.'3 Your silver and your gold is mine; your wives also and your sons, even the goodliest, are mine.3 Thy silver and thy gold [is] mine; thy wives also and thy children, [even] the most comely, [are] mine.3 Your silver and your gold is mine; your wives also and your children, even the best, are mine. 3 "Your silver and your gold are mine; your loveliest wives and children are mine."' 3 ‘Your silver and gold are mine, and so are your wives and the best of your children!'" 3 'Your silver and gold are mine. Your most beautiful wives and children are mine also.'" 3 Your silver and gold are mine; your fairest wives and children also are mine." 3 Thy silver and thy gold, are, mine, and, thy wives and thy sons, the goodliest, are, mine.3 He said: Thus saith Benadad: Thy silver and thy gold is mine: and thy wives and thy goodliest children are mine.3 'Your silver and your gold are mine; your fairest wives and children also are mine.'"3 and says to him, "Thus said Ben-Hadad: Your silver and your gold are mine, and your wives and your sons—the best—are mine."3 'Your silver and your gold are mine; your most beautiful wives and children are also mine.'"

4 Then the king of Israel answered, “Just as you say, my lord the king: I am yours, along with all that I have.”

4 The king of Yisra'el answered, It is according to your saying, my lord, O king; I am yours, and all that I have.

4 And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I am thine, and all that I have. 4 And the king of Israel answered, "As you say, my lord, O king, I am yours, and all that I have."

4 Ahab king of Israel answered, "My master and king, I agree to what you say. I and everything I have belong to you." 4 The king of Israel replied, "It is just as you say, my master, O king. I and all I own belong to you."4 The king of Israel conceded his defeat and answered, "By your word, my lord, O king, I am yours, and all that I have."4 And the king of Israel replied, "As (F1)you say, my lord, O king; I am yours, as well as all that I have."4 And the King of Israel answered, and sayd, My lord King, according to thy saying, I am thine, and all that I haue.4 Then the king of Israel answered and said, "It is according to your word, my lord, O king; I am yours, and all that I have."

4 "Your Majesty," Ahab replied, "everything I have is yours, including me." 4 The king of Isra'el answered, "Just as you say, my lord, king; I am yours, along with everything I own."

4 And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I am thine, and all that I have.

4 The king of Israel answered, "Yes, my lord and king, I am yours now, and everything I have belongs to you."4 And the king of Israel answered and said, According to your word, my lord, O king, I am yours, and all that I have.

4 "Tell my lord, King Benhadad, that I agree; he can have me and everything I own," Ahab answered. 4 Then the king of Israel answered and said, "As your word, my master the king; I am yours, and all that is mine is yours." 4 And the king of Israel answered and said, According to your word, my lord, O king, I am yours, and all that I have.4 The kynge of Israel answered, & sayde: My lorde O kynge, euen as thou hast sayde, I am thine, and all that I haue. 4 And the king of Israel answered and said, It is according to thy saying, my lord, O king; I am thine, and all that I have. 4 And the king of Israel sent him an answer saying, As you say, my lord king, I am yours with all I have.4 And the king of Israel aunswered and said: My lord king, according to thy saying, I am thyne and all that I haue.4 And the king of Israel answered and said: 'It is according to thy saying, my lord, O king: I am thine, and all that I have.'4 And the king of Israel answered, and said, My lord O king, according to thy saying, I am thine, and all that I haue. 4 And the spirit of Achaab was troubled, and he lay down upon his bed, and covered his face, and ate no bread. 4 And the king of Israel answered and said, It is according to thy saying, my lord, O king; I am thine, and all that I have. 4 And the king of Israel replied, “Just as you say, my lord the king: I am yours, along with all that I have.”4 And the kyng of Israel answeride, Bi thi word, my lord the kyng, Y am thin, and alle my thingis `ben thine.4 And the king of Israel answereth and saith, `According to thy word, my lord, O king: I [am] thine, and all that I have.'4 And the king of Israel answered and said, It is according to your saying, my lord, O king; I am yours, and all that I have.4 And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I [am] thine, and all that I have.4 The king of Israel answered, It is according to your saying, my lord, O king; I am yours, and all that I have. 4 And the king of Israel answered and said, "My lord, O king, just as you say, I and all that I have are yours."

4 "All right, my lord the king," Israel's king replied. "All that I have is yours!" 4 The king of Israel answered, "It is as you say, my lord, O king. I am yours, and all that I have." 4 The king of Israel answered, "As you say, my lord, O king, I am yours, and all that I have." 4 Then responded the king of Israel, and said, According to thy word, my lord O king! thine, am I, and all that I have.4 And the king of Israel answered: According to thy word, my lord, O king, I am thine, and all that I have.4 And the king of Israel answered, "As you say, my lord, O king, I am yours, and all that I have."4 And the king of Israel answers and says, "According to your word, my lord, O king: I [am] yours, and all that I have."

4 The king of Israel accepted the terms: "As you say, distinguished lord; I and everything I have is yours."4 The king of Israel replied, "It is according to your word, my lord, O king; I am yours, and all that I have."

5 The messengers then returned and said, “This is what Ben-hadad says: ‘I have sent messengers to you, saying: You are to give me your silver, your gold, your wives, and your children. 5 The messengers came again, and said, Thus speaks Ben-Hadad, saying, I sent indeed to you, saying, You shall deliver me your silver, and your gold, and your wives, and your children;

5 And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaketh Benhadad, saying, Although I have sent unto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children; 5 The messengers came again and said, "Thus says Ben-hadad: ‘I sent to you, saying, "Deliver to me your silver and your gold, your wives and your children."

5 Then the messengers came to Ahab again. They said, "Ben-Hadad says, ‘I told you before that you must give me your silver and gold, your wives and your children.

5 The messengers came again and said, "This is what Ben Hadad says, ‘I sent this message to you, "You must give me your silver, gold, wives, and sons." 5 The messengers returned and said, "Thus says Ben-hadad: 'I indeed sent word to you, saying, "You shall give me your silver, your gold, your wives, and your children,"5 Then the messengers returned and said, "Ben-hadad says (F1)this: 'I did indeed send word to you, saying, "You shall give me your silver, your gold, your wives, and your children";5 And when the messengers came againe, they said, Thus commandeth Ben-hadad, & saith, When I shal send vnto thee, and command, thou shalt deliuer me thy siluer and thy golde, and thy women, and thy children,5 Then the messengers returned and said, "Thus says (F1)Ben-hadad, 'Surely, I sent to you saying, "You shall give me your silver and your gold and your wives and your children,"

5 Later, Benhadad sent another messenger to say to Ahab, "I already told you to give me your silver and gold, your wives, and your children.

5 The messengers returned and said, "Here is Ben-Hadad's response: ‘I sent you a message to hand over your silver, gold, wives and children to me.

5 And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaks Ben-Hadad saying: I sent to thee indeed, saying, Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children;

5 Then the messengers came back to Ahab. They said, "Ben-Hadad says, ‘I told you before that all of your silver and gold and your wives and children belong to me. So give them to me!5 And the messengers came again, and said, Thus says Bar-hadad, Although I sent to you at first, saying, You shall deliver to me your silver and your gold and your wives and your children;

5 Later the messengers came back to Ahab with another demand from Benhadad: "I sent you word that you were to hand over to me your silver and gold, your women and your children. 5 The messengers returned and said, "Thus says Ben-Hadad, saying, ‘I sent to you saying, "Your silver and gold are mine, and your women and your best sons you must give to me." 5 And the messengers came again and said, So says Ben-hadad, saying, Sending I sent to you, saying, Your silver and your gold and your wives and your sons you shall give to me;5 And the messaungers came agayne, & sayde: Thus sayeth Benadab: For so moch as I haue sent vnto the, sayenge: Thy syluer & thy golde, thy wyues & thy childre 5 And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaketh Ben-hadad, saying, I sent indeed unto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children; 5 Then the representatives came back again, and said, These are the words of Ben-hadad: I sent to you saying, Give up to me your silver and your gold, your wives and your children;5 And when the messengers came againe, they sayd, thus sayth Benhadad: Forasmuch as I haue sent vnto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliuer me thy siluer and thy golde, and thy wyues, and thy children:5 And the messengers came again, and said: 'Thus speaketh Ben-hadad, saying: I sent indeed unto thee, saying: Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children;5 And the messengers came againe, and saide, Thus speaketh Benhadad, saying, Although I haue sent vnto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliuer me thy siluer, and thy gold, and thy wiues, and thy children: 5 And Jezabel his wife went in to him, and spoke to him, saying, Why is thy spirit troubled, and why dost thou eat no bread? 5 And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaketh Ben–hadad, saying, I sent indeed unto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children; 5 The messengers came back and said, “This is what Ben-hadad says: ‘I have sent to you to demand your silver, your gold, your wives, and your children.5 And the messangeris turneden ayen, and seiden, Benadab, that sente vs to thee, seith these thingis, Thou schalt yyue to me thi siluer, and thi gold, and thi wyues, and thi sones.5 And the messengers turn back and say, `Thus spake Ben-Hadad, saying, Surely I sent unto thee, saying, Thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy sons, to me thou dost give;5 And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaks Ben-hadad, saying, I indeed sent to you, saying, You shall deliver to me your silver, and your gold, and your wives, and your sons;5 And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaketh Ben-hadad, saying, Although I have sent to thee, saying, Thou shalt deliver to me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children;5 The messengers came again, and said, Thus speaks Ben-hadad, saying, I sent indeed to you, saying, You shall deliver me your silver, and your gold, and your wives, and your children; 5 Then the messengers came back and said, "Thus speaks Ben-Hadad, saying, "Indeed I have sent to you, saying, "You shall deliver to me your silver and your gold, your wives and your children";

5 Soon Ben-hadad's messengers returned again and said, "This is what Ben-hadad says: ‘I have already demanded that you give me your silver, gold, wives, and children. 5 Then the men returned and said, "This is what Ben-hadad says. ‘I sent word to you saying, "You must give me your silver and gold and your wives and children." 5 The messengers came again and said: "Thus says Ben-hadad: I sent to you, saying, ‘Deliver to me your silver and gold, your wives and children'; 5 And the messengers came back again, and said, Thus, speaketh Ben-hadad, saying, - Because I sent unto thee, saying, Thy silver and thy gold and thy wives and thy sons, to me, shalt thou give,5 And the messengers came again, and said: Thus saith Benadad, who sent us unto thee: Thy silver and thy gold, and thy wives and thy children, thou shalt deliver up to me.5 The messengers came again, and said, "Thus says Ben-ha'dad: 'I sent to you, saying, "Deliver to me your silver and your gold, your wives and your children";5 And the messengers turn back and say, "Thus spoke Ben-Hadad, saying, Surely I sent to you, saying, Your silver, and your gold, and your wives, and your sons, you give to me;5-6 But then the envoy returned a second time, saying, "On second thought, I want it all—your silver and gold and all your wives and sons. Hand them over—the whole works. I'll give you twenty-four hours; then my servants will arrive to search your palace and the houses of your officials and loot them; anything that strikes their fancy, they'll take."5 Then the messengers returned and said, "Thus says (F1)Ben-hadad, 'Surely, I sent to you saying, "You shall give me your silver and your gold and your wives and your children,"6 But at this time tomorrow I will send my servants to you,(F1)(C1) and they will search your palace and your servants’ houses. They will lay their hands on and take away whatever is precious to you.’”

6 but I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house, and the houses of your servants; and it shall be, that whatever is pleasant in your eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.

6 Yet I will send my servants unto thee to morrow about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away. 6 Nevertheless I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house and the houses of your servants and lay hands on whatever pleases you and take it away.'" 6 About this time tomorrow I will send my men, who will search everywhere in your palace and in the homes of your officers. Whatever they want they will take and carry off.'" 6 But now at this time tomorrow I will send my servants to you and they will search through your palace and your servants' houses. They will carry away all your valuables." 6 but about this time tomorrow I will send my servants to you, and they will search your house and the houses of your servants; and they will take with their hands (confiscate) whatever is desirable in your eyes and carry it away.'"

6 but about this time tomorrow I will send my servants to you, and they will search your house and the houses of your servants; and they will take in their hands everything that is pleasing to your eyes, and take it all away.'"

6 Or els I will sende my seruants vnto thee by to morow this time: and they shal search thine house, & the houses of thy seruants: and whatsoeuer is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall take it in their handes, and bring it away.6 but about this time tomorrow I will send my servants to you, and they will search your house and the houses of your servants; and (F1)whatever is desirable in your eyes, they will put in their hand and carry away.'"

6 But tomorrow at this time, I will send my officials into your city to search your palace and the houses of your officials. They will take everything else that you[c] own." 6 But I am going to send my servants to you tomorrow around this time; they will ransack your house and the houses of your servants; and whatever they see that they like they will seize and remove.'"

6 but to-morrow about this time I will send my servants to thee, and they shall search thy house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thy sight, they shall put in their hand and take away. 6 Tomorrow I will send my men to search through your house and through the houses of your officials. Give my men all of your valuables, and they will bring them back to me.'"6 Yet I will send my servants to you tomorrow at about this time, and they shall search your house and the houses of your servants; and whatsoever pleases them, they shall take in their hands and bring back. 6 Now, however, I will send my officers to search your palace and the homes of your officials, and to take everything they[a] consider valuable. They will be there about this time tomorrow." 6 So at this time tomorrow, I will send my servants to you that they might search your house and the houses of your servants. All the desire of your eyes they will lay hands on[a] and take it away.'"6 I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house, and your servants' houses; and it shall be that whatever is pleasing in your eyes, they will put it in their hand and take it away.6 shalt thou geue me, tomorow aboute this tyme wil I sende my seruautes vnto the, yt they maye serch thyne house and the houses of thy subiectes: & loke what pleasaunt thinge thou hast, yt shal they take in their handes, and cary it awaye. 6 but I will send my servants unto thee to-morrow about this time, and they shall search thy house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that [a]whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.6 But I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, to make a search through your house and the houses of your people, and everything which is pleasing in your eyes they will take away in their hands.6 I will therfore send my seruauntes vnto thee to morowe this time: and they shall searche thyne house, & the houses of thy seruauntes, and whatsoeuer is pleasaunt in thyne eyes, they shall take it in their handes, and bring it away.6 but I will send my servants unto thee tomorrow about this time, and they shall search thy house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.'6 Yet I will send my seruants vnto thee to morrow about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy seruants; and it shall be, that whatsoeuer is pleasant in thine eies, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away. 6 And he said to her, Because I spoke to Nabuthai the Jezraelite, saying, Give me thy vineyard for money; or if thou wilt, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. 6 but I will send my servants unto thee tomorrow about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away. 6 But about this time tomorrow I will send my servants to search your palace and the houses of your servants. They will seize and carry away all that is precious to you.’”6 Therfor to morewe, in this same our, Y schal sende my seruauntis to thee, and thei schulen seke thin hows, and the hows of thi seruauntis; and thei schulen putte in her hondis, and take awey al thing that schal plese hem.6 for if, at this time to-morrow, I send my servants unto thee then they have searched thy house, and the houses of thy servants, and it hath been, every desirable thing of thine eyes they place in their hand, and have taken away.'6 but I will send my slaves to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house, and the houses of your slaves; and it shall be, that whatever is pleasant in your eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.6 Yet I will send my servants to thee to-morrow about this time, and they shall search thy house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, [that] whatever is pleasant in thy eyes, they shall take [it] in their hand, and carry [it] away.6 but I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house, and the houses of your servants; and it shall be, that whatever is pleasant in your eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away. 6 but I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house and the houses of your servants. And it shall be, that whatever is pleasant in your eyes, they will put it in their hands and take it."' 6 But about this time tomorrow I will send my officials to search your palace and the homes of your officials. They will take away everything you consider valuable!'" 6 But I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time. They will look through your house and the houses of your servants. And they will take away all that is of worth to you.'" 6 nevertheless I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house and the houses of your servants, and lay hands on whatever pleases them,[a] and take it away."6 Therefore, about this time to-morrow, will I send my servants unto thee, and they shall search thy house, and the houses of thy servants, - and it shall be, that, all the delight of thine eyes, shall they put in their hand, and take away.6 To morrow, therefore, at this same hour, I will send my servants to thee, and they shall search thy house, and the houses of thy servants: and all that pleaseth them, they shall put in their hands, and take away.6 nevertheless I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house and the houses of your servants, and lay hands on whatever pleases them, and take it away.'"6 for if, at this time tomorrow, I send my servants to you, then they have searched your house, and the houses of your servants, and it has been [that] every desirable thing of your eyes they place in their hand, and have taken [them] away."6 but about this time tomorrow I will send my servants to you, and they will search your house and the houses of your servants; and (F1)whatever is desirable in your eyes, they will (F2)take in their hand and carry away.'"

7 Then the king of Israel called for all the elders of the land and said, “Recognize(F1) that this one is only looking for trouble,(C1) for he demanded my wives, my children, my silver, and my gold, and I didn’t turn him down.”
