1 So they brought in the ark of God, and placed it in the midst of the tent, which David had pitched for it, - and they brought near ascending-sacrifices and peace-offerings, before God.

When David had completed the offerings of worship, he blessed the people in the name of God. Then he passed around to every one there, men and women alike, a loaf of bread, a slice of barbecue, and a raisin cake.

And he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.2 When David had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD. 2 After David had finished, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord 2 When David had finished offering the burnt offering and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Adonai.
2 And when David had ended offering up the burnt-offerings and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah. 2 After David had finished giving the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he used the Lord's name to bless the people.2 And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people of Israel in the name of the LORD of hosts. 2 After David had finished offering the sacrifices, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord 2 And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh. 2 And when David finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offering, and he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah;2 And wha Dauid had ended the burntofferynges and thankofferynges, he blessed the people in the name of the LORDE, 2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah. 2 And when David had come to an end of making the burned offerings and peace-offerings, he gave the people a blessing in the name of the Lord.2 And when Dauid had made an end of offring the burnt offringes and peace offringes, he blessed the people in the name of the Lorde.2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.2 And when Dauid had made an end of offering the burnt offerings, and the peace offrings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord. 2 And David finished offering up whole-burnt-offerings and peace-offerings, and blessed the people in the name of the Lord. 2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD. 2 And whanne Dauid offrynge brent sacrifices and pesible sacrifices hadde fillid, he blesside the puple in the name of the Lord;2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offerings and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.2 And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD. 2 When he had finished his sacrifices, David blessed the people in the name of the Lord. 2 When David finished giving the burnt gifts and peace gifts, he prayed in the name of the Lord that good would come to the people. 2 When David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the offerings of well-being, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord; 2 And, when David had made an end of offering the ascending-sacrifices, and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people, in the name of Yahweh.2 And when David had made an end of offering holocausts, and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.2 And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD,2 and David ceaseth from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesseth the people in the name of Jehovah,2 and David ceases from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesses the people in the Name of YHWH,2 When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.3 Then he distributed to each and every Israelite, both men and women, a loaf of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake.
3 He dealt to everyone of Yisra'el, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion [of flesh], and a cake of raisins.3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. 3 and distributed to all Israel, both men and women, to each a loaf of bread, a portion of meat,[a] and a cake of raisins. 3 He gave a loaf of bread, some dates, and raisins to every Israelite man and woman. 3 He then handed out to each Israelite man and woman a loaf of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake. 3 He distributed to everyone in Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a portion of meat, and a raisin cake.
3 Then he distributed to everyone of Israel, both men and women, to everyone a loaf of bread, a portion of meat, and a raisin cake.3 He dealt to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion [of flesh], and a cake of raisins. 3 And he dealt to euery one of Israel both man and woman, to euery one a cake of breade, and a piece of flesh, and a bottel of wine.3 And he apportioned to everyone of Israel, both men and women, to everyone a loaf of bread and a portion of meat and a raisin cake.3 Then he distributed to each and every Israelite, both men and women, a loaf of bread, a date cake(a), and a raisin cake. 3 and gave every person in the crowd a small loaf of bread, some meat, and a handful of raisins. 3 Then he distributed to everyone in Isra'el, to everyone there, both men and women, a loaf of bread, a portion of meat and a raisin cake.3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread and a measure [of wine] and a raisin-cake. 3 Then he gave a loaf of bread, some dates, and raisins to every Israelite man and woman.3 And he distributed to all the people of Israel, both men and women and young men and the little ones, to every one a loaf of bread, a portion of meat, and a fine white loaf. Then all the people went away, every one to his own house. 3 and distributed food to them all. He gave each man and woman in Israel a loaf of bread, a piece of roasted meat,[a] and some raisins. 3 And he distributed to every man of Israel, both men and women, to each person a loaf of bread, a cake of dates, and a cake of raisins. 3 even he passed out to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to each a loaf of bread, a portion, and a raisin cake.3 & distributed vnto euery man in Israel (both vnto man and woman) a cake of bred, and a pece of flesh and a meece of potage. 3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion [a]of flesh, and a cake of raisins.3 And he gave to everyone, every man and woman of Israel, a cake of bread, some meat, and a cake of dry grapes.3 And he dealt to all Israel both man and woman, a cracknel of bread, and a good peece of fleshe, and a flacket of wine.3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a cake made in a pan, and a sweet cake.3 And hee dealt to euery one of Israel, both man and woman, to euery one a loafe of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. 3 And he divided to every man of Israel (both men and women), to every man one bakers loaf, and a cake. 3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion [of flesh], and a cake of raisins. 3 and departide to alle to ech bi hym silf fro a man til to a womman o cake of breed, and a part of rostid fleisch of a bugle, and flour fried in oile.3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion [of flesh], and a cake of raisins.3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon [of wine].3 Then he distributed to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins. 3 Then he gave to every man and woman in all Israel a loaf of bread, a cake of dates,[a] and a cake of raisins. 3 He gave to every man and woman in Israel a loaf of bread, a share of meat, and a loaf of dried grapes. 3 and he distributed to every person in Israel—man and woman alike—to each a loaf of bread, a portion of meat,[a] and a cake of raisins.3 And he apportioned, to every one of Israel, both man and woman, - to every one, a loaf of bread, and a sweet drink, and a raisin cake.3 And he divided to all and every one, both men and women, a loaf of bread, and a piece of roasted beef, and flour fried with oil.3 and distributed to all Israel, both men and women, to each a loaf of bread, a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.3 and giveth a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.3 and gives a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.3 He distributed to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread and a portion of meat and a raisin cake.
4 David appointed some of the Levites to be ministers before the ark of the Lord, to celebrate the Lord God of Israel, and to give thanks and praise to him. 4 He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Yisra'el:
4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel:
4 Then he appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the Lord, to invoke, to thank, and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel.
4 Then David appointed some of the Levites to serve before the Ark of the Lord. They had the job of leading the worship and giving thanks and praising the Lord, the God of Israel. 4 He appointed some of the Levites to serve before the ark of the Lord, to offer prayers, songs of thanks, and hymns to the Lord God of Israel.
4 He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD and to profess God's name and to (F1)thank and praise the LORD, the God of Israel:
4 He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the LORD, to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:4 He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel: 4 And he appointed certaine of the Leuites to minister before the Arke of the Lorde, and to rehearse and to thanke and prayse the Lord God of Israel:
4 And he made some of the Levites ministers before the ark of Yahweh, even to bring remembrance and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:4 David appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to celebrate, to give thanks, and to praise the LORD, the God of Israel.
4 David appointed some of the Levites to serve at the sacred chest; they were to play music and sing praises to the Lord God of Israel.
4 He appointed certain L'vi'im to serve in front of the ark of Adonai, to celebrate, and to thank and praise Adonai the God of Isra'el:
4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to do the service before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate, and to thank and praise Jehovah the God of Israel:
4 Then David chose some of the Levites to serve before the Lord's Holy Box. They had the job of celebrating and giving thanks and praise to the Lord, the God of Israel.4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD and to invoke and to thank and to praise the LORD God of Israel:
4 David appointed some of the Levites to lead the worship of the Lord, the God of Israel, in front of the Covenant Box, by singing and praising him. 4 Then he appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of Yahweh, to invoke, thank, and praise Yahweh the God of Israel. 4 And he set before the ark of Jehovah ministers from the Levites, even to celebrate and to thank and to give praise to Jehovah the God of Israel:4 And he appoynted before the Arke of ye LORDE certayne Leuites to mynister, that they shulde geue prayse, thankes and loauinges vnto the LORDE God of Israel:
4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Jehovah, the God of Israel: 4 And he put some of the Levites before the ark of the Lord as servants, to keep the acts of the Lord in memory, and to give worship and praise to the Lord, the God of Israel:4 And he appoynted certaine of the Leuites to minister before the arke of the Lord, and to repeate, and to thanke and prayse the Lorde God of Israel.4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Israel: 4 And he appointed certaine of the Leuites to minister before the Arke of the Lord, and to record, and to thanke and praise the Lord God of Israel, 4 And he appointed before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, Levites to minister and lift up the voice, and to give thanks and praise the Lord God of Israel: 4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Israel: 4 And he ordeynede bifor the arke of the Lord, of the Leuytis, that schulden mynystre, and haue mynde of the werkis of the Lord, and glorifie and preyse the Lord God of Israel;4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:4 And he appointed [certain] of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:4 And he appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the LORD God of Israel:
4 David appointed the following Levites to lead the people in worship before the Ark of the Lord—to invoke his blessings, to give thanks, and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel.
4 David chose some of the Levites to do the work in front of the special box of the Lord. They were to be glad and thank and praise the Lord God of Israel.
4 He appointed certain of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the Lord, to invoke, to thank, and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel. 4 And he placed before the ark of Yahweh certain of the Levites, as attendants, - and to celebrate, and to give thanks and render praise, unto Yahweh, God of Israel;4 And he appointed Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to remember his works, and to glorify, and praise the Lord God of Israel.4 Moreover he appointed certain of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the LORD, to invoke, to thank, and to praise the LORD, the God of Israel.4 And he putteth before the ark of Jehovah, of the Levites, ministers, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to Jehovah, God of Israel,4 And he puts before the Ark of YHWH, those ministering from the Levites, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to YHWH, God of Israel:4-6 Then David assigned some of the Levites to the Chest of God to lead worship—to intercede, give thanks, and praise the God of Israel. Asaph was in charge; under him were Zechariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, who played the musical instruments. Asaph was on percussion. The priests Benaiah and Jahaziel blew the trumpets before the Chest of the Covenant of God at set times through the day.
4 He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the LORD, even to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:5 Asaph was the chief and Zechariah was second to him. Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel played the harps and lyres, while Asaph sounded the cymbals 5 Asaf the chief, and second to him Zekharyah, Ye`i'el, and Shemiramot, and Yechi'el, and Mattityah, and Eli'av, and Benayah, and `Oved-'Edom, and Ye`i'el, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaf with cymbals, sounding aloud;
5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals; 5 (b)Asaph was the chief, and second to him were Zechariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel, who were to play harps and lyres; Asaph was to sound the cymbals, 5 Asaph, who played the cymbals, was the leader. Zechariah was second to him. The other Levites were Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel. They played the lyres and harps. 5 Asaph was the leader and Zechariah second in command, followed by Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel. They were to play stringed instruments; Asaph was to sound the cymbals; 5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, then Jeiel (Jaaziel), Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel with musical instruments, harps and lyres; also Asaph played loud-sounding cymbals;5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, then (F1)Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with musical instruments, harps, and lyres; also Asaph played loud-sounding cymbals,5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud; 5 Asaph the chiefe, and next to him Zechariah, Ieiel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, & Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed Edom, euen Ieiel with instruments, violes and harpes, and Asaph to make a sound with cymbales,5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, then (F1)Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with musical instruments, harps, lyres; also Asaph played loud-sounding cymbals,5 Asaph was the chief, Zechariah was second, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel. They were to play the harps and lyres, while Asaph sounded the cymbals 5 Asaph was their leader, and Zechariah was his assistant. Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and another man named Jeiel were appointed to play small harps and stringed instruments. Asaph himself played the cymbals, 5 Asaf, the leader; assisting him, Z'kharyah; then Ye‘i'el, Sh'miramot, Yechi'el, Mattityahu, Eli'av, B'nayahu, ‘Oved-Edom and Ye‘i'el playing lutes and lyres, while Asaf played cymbals.

His group played the cymbals. Zechariah was the leader of the second group. The other Levites were Uzziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed Edom, and Jeiel.
