Combined these mean "repeat a cycle". During the rain season, repeated each year, the riverbeds become full of water. The surrounding land is soaked with water allowing for the planting of crops.

(ᵐ5 ἀποστροφή Genesis , ἐπιστροφή Canticles, whence Nes Marg. 6 proposes תְּשׁוּבָתֵךְ Genesis 3:16, which Ball Hpt reads in all; but how explain the unusual and striking word in MT?).
