רֹבַע m. a fourth part. رُبْعُ id. 2 Kings 6:25; Numbers 23:10, “who shall number the fourth part of Israel,” compare τὸ τέταρτον, Revelation 6:8. The Hebrew interpreters render it concubitus (see רָבַע No. I, 2 ), hence progeny.
