Qal only Infinitive: suffix רִבְעִי Psalm 139:3 my lying down (for repose, opposed to אָרְחִי); elsewhere (H) for copulation (woman with beast) לְרִבְעָה אֹתָהּ Leviticus 20:16, but read אִתָּהּ (suffix of beast) Dr-Wh Kö Synt. 226 e, compare Bae Berthol (and Dr 2 Samuel 13:14); לְרִבְעָהּ 2 Samuel 18:23, read לְרִבְעָה (compl. omitted; see id.).

רָבַע
(1) i.q. רָבַץ to lie down, ע and צ being interchanged, see רֶבַע No. 1.
(2) to lie with any one, followed by an acc. used of bestiality, Leviticus 18:23, 20:16.

רָבַע denom. from רְבַע (with א prosthet. אַרְבַּע) four. Part. pass. רָבוּעַ foursquare, Exodus 27:1, 28:16. Part. Pu. מְרֻבָּע id., 1 Kings 7:31.
I. רֶבַע m. with suff. רִבְעִי lying down, Psalms 139:3 from the root רָבַע No. 1.
II. רֶבַע (from אַרְבַּע four)
(1) a fourth part, Exodus 29:40. Hence
(2) a side (one of four sides), Ezekiel 1:8, 17 Ezekiel 1:17, 43:17.
(3) [Rebah], pr.n. of a king of the Midianites, Numbers 31:8; Joshua 13:21.
