Piel Imperfect יְסַכֵּל Isaiah 44:25, Imperative סַכֶּלנָֿא 2 Samuel 15:31, make foolish, turn into foolishness.
Niph`al Perfect 2 masculine singular נִסְכַּלְתָּ 2 Chronicles 16:9; נִסְכָּ֑לְתָּ 1 Samuel 13:13; 1 singular נִסְכַּלְתִּי 2 Samuel 24:10 = 1 Chronicles 21:8, act or do foolishly.

סָכַל not used in Kal, i.q. כָּסַל No. 3, Syr. and Zab. ܣܟܰܠ to be foolish, which must be carefully distinguished from the verb, which is similar in sound, שָׂכַל.
Piel, to make foolish, i.e. vain, fruitless, to frustrate, e.g. a counsel or purpose, 2 Samuel 15:31; Isaiah 44:25. Compare הוֹלֵל.
