אַכְזָרִי i.q. אַכְזָר (with the adjectivial termination ־ִי).

(1)  harsh, cruel, Proverbs 5:9, 17:11 Jeremiah 6:23.

(2)  fierce, savage, Proverbs 17:11, “a savage messenger,” i.e. one who brings grievous tidings, such as a sentence of death, Isaiah 13:9; Jeremiah 30:14.
