Niphal

Hiphil הִגִּיר
(1) to pour out, Psalms 75:9.
(2) to push down (stones from a mountain), Micah 1:6.
(3) figuratively to deliver (compare הֶעֱרָה to pour out, to deliver) in this phrase הִגִּיר פּ׳ עַל־יְדֵי חֶרֶב to deliver any one into the hands, i.e. into the power of the sword (compare עַל יְדֵי after verbs of delivering p. 331, A ); Ezekiel 35:5; Jeremiah 18:21; Psalms 63:11 commonly ill rendered, to pour out by the hands of the sword.
Hophal הֻגַּר to be poured out, to be poured down, used of water, Micah 1:4.
