שׁוּעַ not used in Kal, i.q. יָשַׁע
(1) to be ample, broad; hence
(2) to be rich, wealthy (see שׁוֹעַ, שׁוּעַ No. 1 ).
(3) to be freed from danger and distress (compare יָשַׁע).
Piel שִׁוַּע to ask for aid, to implore help, Psalms 18:42; Job 35:9, 36:13 followed by אֶל Psalms 30:3, 88:14 72:12.
