אֶפְרֹחַ m. the young of birds (Arab. فَرْخُ), see פִּרְחָח. Deuteronomy 22:6; Psalms 84:4. The root פָּרַח to germinate, is in Hebrew only used of plants; but in Arabic, is also used of animals producing young.
