Qal Imperfect יַחְסְלֶנּוּ הָאַרְבֶּה Deuteronomy 28:38 of locusts destroying crops.
חָסַל to eat off, to devour (used of the locust), Deuteronomy 28:38. (Ch. id. This is a kindred root to קָצַר, גָּזַר, חָסַר, which see.) Hence חָסִיל.
