Combined these mean "mattock of the seed". One of the many agricultural tools was a hoe or mattock. This implement had a wide blade for cutting a plant stalks at the roots. The crops were harvested for a supply of foods, which were stored in jars.

זְנוּנִים m. pl. (from זָנָה with the addition of a formative נ, like קָצִין from קָצָה, אֶתְנָן from תָּנָה, see Lehrg. page 508).
(1) whoredoms, adulteries, Genesis 38:24. Hosea 1:2, אֵשֶׁת זְנוּנִים וְיַלְדֵי זְנוּנִים “a whorish wife and bastard children.” Hosea 2:6, 4:12 5:4. Hosea 2:4, וְתָסֵר זְנוּנֶיהָ מִפָּנֶיה “and let her remove her adulteries (i.e. vultus protervus; compare Hor. Carm. i. 19, 7. 8) from her face” (comp. Ezekiel 6:9).
(2) Used figuratively
