Brown-Driver-Briggs Expanded Definition
בָּתָה noun feminine end, destruction (for בַּתָּה, perhaps on account of difference of meaning, perhaps from analogy of כָּלָה with like sense; compare Di) — וַאֲשִׁיתֵהוּבָּתָה Isaiah 5:6 and I will make it (the vineyard) a destruction, a waste, or (Che) make an end of it.

Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

בָּתָה fem. Isaiah 5:6, where it is said of a vineyard: אֲשִׁיתֵהוּ בָתָה, as if אֲשִׁיתֵהוּ כָלָה Germ. ich will ihm das Garaus machen. Vulg. “ponam eam desertam.” “I will lay it desolate.” The grammarians have not been consistent with regard to this form, which ought in each case to have the same vowels. [But still a variation in the vowels is not unfrequent; here we have a long vowel in the one case to compensate for dagesh in the other.]
