2. priest of Poseidon Taureios, Ath. 10.425c.

3. a kind of Lycian boat with bull as figurehead, postulated to explain Europa's bull, Poll. 1.83.

II the bull as a sign of the Zodiac, Eudox. ap. Hipparch. 1.2.10, Arat. 167, al., IG 14.1307, Supp.Epigr. 7.363.8 (Dura-Europus, ii A.D.), etc.
