increase or enlarge along with or together, συναύξειν τῇ γῇ τὰ Χρήσιμα X. Mem. 4.3.6 (in h.Cer. 267, Ignarra restored συνάξουσι): — Pass., increase with or together, wax larger together with, αὐξομένῳ τῷ σώματι συναύξονται καὶ αἱ φρένες Hdt. 3.134, cf. Hp.
