1. go through, penetrate, ποτὶ τὰν ψυχάν δι' ὤτων Ti.Locr. 101a; ἐφ' ὅσον -εῖται τὸ ὕδωρ Thphr. CP 3.20.4; διῖκτο ἡ δόξα μέχρι βασιλέως Plu. Dem. 20, cf. D.Chr. 12.35; reach, with missiles, Th. 7.79; βραδέως τοῦ παραγγέλματος διικνουμένου Plu. Nic. 27.
2. in speaking, go through, tell of, πάντα δ. Il. 9.61, 19.186, A.R. 2.411.
3. of Time, intervene, διετοῦς χρόνου διικνουμένου Longus 1.4.
