ὅτι τὴν φωνὴν τῆς σάλπιγγος ἀκούσας οὐκ ἐφυλάξατο, τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῦ ἔσται, καὶ οὗτος, ὅτι ἐφυλάξατο, τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ ἐξείλατο.
Berean Study Bible
- Since he heard the sound of the horn but failed to heed the warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had heeded the warning, he would have saved his life.
English Standard Version
He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning his blood shall be upon himself But if he had taken warning he would have saved his life
