Berean Study Bible
But if her husband prohibits her when he hears of it, he nullifies - the vow that binds her - or the rash promise ... - she has made, ... and the LORD will absolve her.
English Standard Version
But if on the day that her husband comes to hear of it he opposes her then he makes void her vow that was on her and the thoughtless utterance of her lips by which she bound herself And the Lord will forgive her
Holman Christian Standard Version
But if her husband prohibits her when he hears about it, he will cancel her vow that is binding or the rash commitment she herself made, and the Lord will forgive her.
King James Version
But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect (8689): and the LORD shall forgive her.
Lexham English Bible
But if on the day her husband hears of it
New American Standard Version
"But if on the day her husband hears {of it,} he forbids her, then he shall annul her vow which she is under and the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself; and the Lord will forgive her.
World English Bible
But if her husband forbids her in the day that he hears it, then he shall make void her vow which is on her, and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul: and Yahweh will forgive her.
