Berean Study Bible
Although he flourishes among his brothers, an east wind will comea wind from the LORD rising up from the desert. His fountain will fail, and his spring will run dry. The wind will plunder his treasury of every precious article.
English Standard Version
Though he may flourish among his brothers the east wind the wind of the Lord shall come rising from the wilderness and his fountain shall dry up his spring shall be parched it shall strip his treasury of every precious thing
Holman Christian Standard Version
Although he flourishes among his brothers, an east wind will come, a wind from the Lord rising up from the desert. His water source will fail, and his spring will run dry. The wind will plunder the treasury of every precious item.
King James Version
Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come (8799), the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry (8799), and his fountain shall be dried up (8799): he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
