ἐν τῷ τιθέναι αὐτοὺς τὸ πρόθυρόν μου ἐν τοῖς προθύροις αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς φλιάς μου ἐχομένας τῶν φλιῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔδωκαν τὸν τοῖχόν μου ὡς συνεχόμενον ἐμοῦ καὶ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐβεβήλωσαν τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιόν μου ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις αὐτῶν, αἷς ἐποίουν· καὶ ἐξέτριψα αὐτοὺς ἐν θυμῷ μου καὶ ἐν φόνῳ.

When they placed their threshold next to My threshold and their doorposts beside My doorposts, with only a wall between Me and them, ... they defiled - My holy name by the abominations - they committed. Therefore I have consumed them in My anger.

Holman Christian Standard Version
Whenever they placed their threshold next to My threshold and their doorposts beside My doorposts, with only a wall between Me and them, they were defiling My holy name by the detestable acts they committed. So I destroyed them in My anger.
King James Version
In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed (8804): wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
