Berean Study Bible
you must take both of them out - to the gate of that city and stone - - them to death- the young woman because ... - she did not cry out in the city, - and the man because ... - he has violated - his neighbor''s wife. You must purge the evil from among you.

then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city and you shall stone them to death with stones the young woman because she did not cry for help though she was in the city and the man because he violated his neighbor's wife So you shall purge the evil from your midst
Holman Christian Standard Version
you must take the two of them out to the gate of that city and stone them to death the young woman because she did not cry out in the city and the man because he has violated his neighbor's fiancée. You must purge the evil from you.
King James Version
Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die (8804); the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
