Thus the goat ... became very great, but at the height of his power, his large horn was broken off, and four prominent horns came up in its place, pointing toward the four winds of heaven.
English Standard Version
Then the goat became exceedingly great but when he was strong the great horn was broken and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven
Holman Christian Standard Version
Then the male goat became very great, but when he became powerful, the large horn was shattered. Four conspicuous horns came up in its place, pointing toward the four winds of heaven.
King James Version
Therefore the he goat waxed very great (8689): and when he was strong (8800), the great horn was broken (8738); and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
