νῦν ἰδοὺ πέποιθας σαυτῷ ἐπὶ τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν καλαμίνην τὴν τεθλασμένην ταύτην, ἐπ᾿ Αἴγυπτον· ὃς ἂν στηριχθῇ ἀνὴρ ἐπ᾿ αὐτήν, καὶ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ καὶ τρήσει αὐτήν· οὕτως Φαραω βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου πᾶσιν τοῖς πεποιθόσιν ἐπ᾿ αὐτόν.

Look now, you are trusting in Egypt, that splintered ... reed of a staff vvv that will pierce the hand of anyone who leans on it. Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him.

Behold you are trusting now in Egypt that broken reed of a staff which will pierce the hand of any man who leans on it Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him

Look, you are now trusting in Egypt, that splintered reed of a staff that will enter and pierce the hand of anyone who leans on it. This is how Pharaoh king of Egypt is to all who trust in him.

Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean (8735), it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
