Zano´ah (marsh, bog), one of the towns of Judah 'in the valley' (); which Jerome identifies with a village called in his time Zanua, on the borders of Eleutheropolis, on the road to Jerusalem. The name of Zanua is still connected with a site on the slope of a low hill not far east of Ain Shems (Beth-shemesh).
