(Strong's #793 — Adjective — asteriktos — as-tay'-rik-tos )

a, negative, sterizo, "to fix," is used in 2 Peter 2:14; 3:16 , AV, "unstable," RV, "unsteadfast."

2: ἀκατάστατος

(Strong's #182 — Adjective — akatastatos — ak-at-as'-tat-os )

from kathistemi, "to set in order," is rendered "unstable" in James 1:8 : see RESTLESS.
