(nay' uh rath) KJV form of Naarah, a city in the tribal territory of Ephraim just north of Jericho (Joshua 16:7 ). Suggested sites include Ain Duq, khirbet el Nayash about five miles northeast of Jericho, and tell el-Jishr. The city is perhaps identical to Naaran (1 Chronicles 7:28 ).
